That bridge is the same Sung IL model called the BB105 the spacing looks to be 17mm
Yo, fellow Schecter owners, got a question. So put your cold one down, or open another, your choice. Can you read or get any information out of Schecter serial numbers in general, or is this like 867-5309 ?
I'd like to figure one of mine out myself. This one just has a #. My others state where they were made.
I have a Raiden Special LH heavily modded, the body size would be much much smaller than the stiletto, the best description I can give of My Raiden is that it is nothing but neck lol.
Ergonomics are great if you want a bass with a small body and a 14 fret upper horn, the pickups were great I liked the split coil double J's however I'm an EMG man and I installed a 35CSX a 7 String split coil guitar pickup in the neck which is the 707TWX the housings are the exact same size and a BTC preamp, topped off with a Hipshot Trans tone bridge and Gotoh Gb707 tuners. Great bass I just have small hands and the 16" radius is a challenge for Me therefore it gets less play than others in My stable.
Mine has the Trans tone on it and also 2 9volts so that's gotta add some weight, but it was around 8.5 when new
Greetings to all, good looking stuff here for sure. Hey. Put up a couple of pictures not long ago of a couple of Schecter Stiletto Elite 5 string through’s that I got recently. One is Red, made in Indonesia. The Black one was made in South Korea. Love them both. So after the usual settle down from the ride is the UPS truck all day, and some new strings, I could tell there was a difference in the neck profile. Both are like 1 3/4 at the nut, sort of, but the Black one has way more “meat” in the neck, almost 59’ Roundback. I have a fair amount of duplicates, as it were, meaning the same model of Schecter Basses. Usually other than overall finish color, things are about the same as far as dimensions go. Also for what it is worth, the “Volute” is more pronounced on the Black one. Interesting for sure. Never gave the whole issue about the neck thing before, and was willing to adapt, but if I was fortunate enough to talk to the Custom Shop in the future, I would say, make it like this.
So I think this would mean 0 as in factory code probably Cor-Tek 10 year 2010 64= 64th day of the year and it was the 24th instrument built that day
That makes a lot more sense. Didn't think it was a 2001.
It's odd in the fact that it doesn't have the standard neck plate like my other 7 Schecters and it has a 1 piece Maple neck.
My other Model T w/ Maple Neck has a Maple fretboard on the neck.
That would make it the Oldest, made in 09. It's also the only one that is Crafted in China.
The neck on this Black one is amazing and I suspect the frets have been leveled and re-crowned.
I was lucky to have gotten this one thru a TBer here Mammoth_Bass.
She had installed the Michael Anthony Signature Pickups in it. It's an Amazing Bass.
Ok Ed on further research I Beleive Yours is indeed a 2001 however it is a Korean Robert Deleo Signature Model, one of the earliest produced!
So your serial is 2001 06 month 4thday 29th instrument produced

I always wondered about that with Hipshot installed. The one piece neck is also freak. It's also the thin Jazz width.
What leads you to believe it's Custom Shop ?

Sorry I thought it might be custom as Robert worked for Schecter and is the big daddy of the Model T it is His design He is responsible for every Model T out there, so I thought because of the early serial it Might have been a custom shop but it looks more like it being and Early Korean production, However! The Korean models have different font on there serials so I'm not sure if that means anything, Schecter serial #s are notoriously hard to decode with very little references out there.
I've always wondered about it because of all the oddities about it.
It may always remain a mystery.
Here's an 02 that was sold here on TB but doesn't have the Hipshot.
It has the same or very similar Neck plate.
That's why I'm thinking Yours May be an early custom Shop or perhaps a bass Made for Robert to tour with, why Would He put His own signature on His personal bass, He worked for Schecter so it is very possible He had many more prototypes and touring basses than other artists,
