Yes!! Wasnt even planning on buying a Schecter but fell in love with it once I started playing it.
Same thing happened with me and that exact model and color bass. I went in for something else, played that and said I'll take it.
My 2003 didn't have the S-Tek bridge, but the one it did have had the allen screw under the string, which was a show-stopper for me. Changed it out for a Babicz. Details here:
The bridge would be my only bitch about my Stilleto studio 4. To set the intonation the allen head is under the string also. And once you do get the screw loose, you have to manually move the saddle. Kind of a screwed up design. Luckily when I took off the stock strings and put on a set of EB cobalt flats the intonation was still dead on.
Anyone use the stock Ernie Ball .45-.105 strings that came on their Schecter and you live in the lower 48?
Haven't checked in here for LONG. So, 2+ years into owning my CV-5, still loving it dearly. Best Fender killer 5er I've owned (and I've had a friend's Am Dlx P 5 for months some years ago). Tons of great tones. Some call it a "poor man's Roscoe Beck V" but this doesn't feel, sound or play any cheaper then, say, my USA Musicmans. Real strong bass in every sense.
Yeah, I put a set of EB cobalt flats on it when I got home. If anyone wants the Slinky rounds that came on it, I will send them to them.

Still haven’t changed mine yet. I bought flats for it, but now I’m thinking I might stay with the slinky’s or look into taper wound

I've acquired a lefty Banshee Mach 6 guitar, and I am very impressed and pleased with the construction, feature set, et cetera.
Roasted maple and purpleheart 5 piece neck-through with carbon fiber rods, stainless steel frets, boutique pick-ups, swamp ash wings and maple top, the thing even has luminescent side dots.
I want a 5 string bass 'clone' of it.
Any idea how soon before NAMM one can start hearing rumblings on what's getting released?
I intend to wait the months regardless rather than settle for one of the current models, but I'd like to be able to guesstimate when to prick up my ears or try and ask around.

For everyone here at Schecter Club,that new @Edbo,his family contacted me and told me he has passed away! I knew him personally,and had him work on the electronics,on some of my Schecter basses. I had been trying to get in touch with him,last couple days,and his girl friend just called me,and told me the sad news. He will be missed with all the knowledge of the Schecter bass guitars. Rest in Peace @EdBo.

I am very, very sorry to hear this. I didn't know him personally, only through TB, but I could tell that he was a very kind, helpful, caring person, who always had good advice to offer or an encouraging word. Rest in peace, Edbo.
