Yeah Paul LF the model t's are sweet. Just sold the hellraiser extreme 4 to get me the black diamond j and a one of a kind diamond p in candy apple red with just the p bass pickup.I have to say that Model T was another top choice for me when I was looking at Schecters, but they were a lot more money than what I paid for my Diamond J bass. Who knows, maybe I might be able to still get one down the road, as if I don't have enough stuff already.
Well got the black diamond j coming along with this sweet candy apple red diamond p.

I know they have series / Paraell capability in the new models.
According the FAQ on Schecter's site and my serial number, it's a 2009 model (it starts with "W09",) but I bought it as a "scratch and dent" clearance model I think in 2013. It was the last model they had on site and I guess probably been sitting in the warehouse a few years. There was nothing wrong with it other than the box being opened, too. It does have some sort of feature when you pull up on the tone knob it changes the sound.
That's pretty cool.
Did you get that from Drum City Guitarland? I think that was the place I've seen some custom models and prototypes.

I'm not sure about the older ones...BUT my guess is that it is wired in Series and NOT Parallel like most J basses (this is just a guess). Only because it appears that more the some of the models are wired on Series. I know the Damien Elite and Omens are wired in series.
Yeah, it doesn't seem to say anything on their site other than the pick ups are Schecter Diamond Monster Tone II for both and the tone knob is push/pull, but not what it does. I know on some of their guitars that feature switches from humbucker to single coil, but those are different pick ups and on the guitars.
It might be an active/passive switch; take the battery out and try playing with the switch in both positions. If one of the positions silences the bass, that's the active setting.

Naturally, I'm broke and I'm sure someone will buy it.
If they actually make a production version of it on the other hand, then there is a possibility down the road.

Just a heads up, if you ever looking to modify any of Schecters the place to do it the Preamp.
The Nordstrand Pre in these basses are really a improvement and the aggressive overwound and/or ceramic pickups that Schecter uses a lot works well with open/non-compression vibe of the Nordstrand Preamps.
I have done this for my Raiden fretless and Damien Elite.

Yeah I have the black one. Nice bass but selling it since I like my basses with the clover leaf tuners.Damien Elite 5 (I'm shocked these are not more popular)
Use to have one of those. You will like it a lot. I just sold mine a couple weeks ago.
