Just got this baby today! Schecter Damien Elite 5 in Crimson Red. She's purrrrrrdy...
very nice, love that crimson red. I'm still thinking strongly about getting a hellraiser extreme 5 in that color. on a side note, this years winter namm is going to be HUGE for schecter. they already announced several new items and artists but I just uncovered the surprise finale bombshell. I'm still shocked by it...wow.

here's my schecter stiletto custom 4. fresh from the local pawnshop. almost ashamed of how much I had to pay.......$100! lmao! feels like I stole it, had no issues with it other than the strap button on the horn is missing and had to clean it up a bit and slap new strings on it. otherwise it's flawless neck is nice and straight and the battery has mucho life left in it.
Wow, that IS a steal!!! I feel bad for the person who gave up this bass; they must have given him $50.00 AND HE TOOK IT. Maybe it was stolen...?

Want back to the pawn shop to get some cheapo Kung fu movies (the worse the better!) found out that it was sold because it was believed to be non-functional, plus there was a rattling sound when I picked it up. Now mind you this is a small Greek run pawn shop and they deal with most everything but musical instruments. Got this puppie home and opened up the back control plate and the battery was disconnected. Indicating to me whoever sold it wasn't very bright. Whatever the case may be I ended up with a gem for very short money, much happier with this than a lot of other basses I've gone through over the years (vantage, Fernandez, squire jazz, Gibson t bird that had bum electronics, peavey, and ibanez) the neck is just right and comfey and the stock pups are just fine by me, might at some point slap bartolinies in there but that's a definite maybe. Happy with this as is and I'm absolutely a schecter convert! Time to go play the crap outta it now! Peace and chicken grease for now all!

I'm kinda surprised that, given Schecter's overall attention to detail, that their shipping boxes aren't a bit better. And no, I doubt that the Hellraiser was dbl-boxed.

Really? I just got mine from MF and it had that box INSIDE another box full of bubble wrap and other packing material. Very well packed.
