I got this Session Riot 8 and it came with a slim neck that is easy to play. I only had to move 3 bridge saddles a little bit for the intonation. The height was about medium and I left it where it is.
I am looking at a HellRaiser 4 posted here but have no Idea of the sound characteristics of Schecter basses.
I like a smooth deep tone and not a fan of middy basses.
I currently hans a Gamma Jazz that I love but just looking for a second bass and that Hellraiser is Georges.
Any input would be appreciated.

The pickups in the Hellraiser are the TW series. They aren't as aggressive as the regular series and with the onboard EQ you should have no problem smoothing them out
Figured there might be some interest in here. I put together a video demo and review on the bass. It's really something all together different for Schecter. The neck is noticeably slimmer and the the weight is cut down from series like the Hellraiser, although they weren't back breakers to begin with.
The Fluence are a beast unto themselves. Really different. I'll give them a round of applause for having their own distinct tone, rather than being a "our version" an already existing sound. They have more options than I was able to get my head around right away. I'll be following this one shortly with a video just on the Fishmans. I give it a 10 on looks. Really just a beautiful instrument.

IMO, they made a great choice in pickups. A few moths ago I got my hands on a couple of Ceramic & Steel EMG's and they made a believer out of me. SWEET !!

I'm very interested in the Jazz. It's time I experience a Jazz as I've never owned a Jazz.
Boy O boy as of right now decided on the Michael Anthony Model T instead of the new black jazz bass and decided want to replace the stock schecter monster tone pickups with dimarzio dp126's but now have to decide if i want all black or Creme. The bass and my two choices on the colors. I think with the creme binding the creme pickups might look good.
If you haven't heard the monstertone yet, i'd hold off on the dimarzios
If you decide to sell the Monster Tone's, please let me know. I've got 3 set's and would love to have more. I've got a couple of Model T's I could put them in.
I kept the MonsterTones but added a Cream Pearl pickguard on 1 and Red Pearl on the other.
In all my time playing bass, there are two things I NEVER thought I’d say.
1. I’m buying a Schecter 5 string.
2. I’m buying a bass with active electronics (again).
I currently have on order, a Stiletto Stealth 5. Yes, I fit the stereotype. Metal bass player (also still weird to say out loud), black bass, low tuning... after owning a nice MIG Wick with MEC jazz pickups, I never thought I’d own another active bass. I had a few problems with it and didn’t care for the sound after tech went through it (neck was gorgeous though). Fast forward, saw a stealth 4 string at GC, tried it, liked it, and ordered a 5er with 20% off. I am hoping the diamond P pickups and whatever they call the MM, sound as good in the 5 string version. I’m honestly excited about this purchase. Anyone have any experience with the MM style 5 pup, or this bass in general?
I’ve played a lot of different basses. I have friends that own gear and I try their stuff too. My current main is a 4 string custom Carvin jazz SB job. This is a big leap for me. I will report back. The 4 was definitely nice. Hoping the 5 is as nice.
