Disney?! HAHA. That's a new one. I'll have to tell that one to the guys and make them cry. Thanks!

And the two bands you mentioned did a little something with their musical careers, right? So I'll take that as a compliment. And thanks for the kind website words. I believe the art for the site was all done freehand by one of our talented band members (not me though, I'm just a bassist  ). Then scanned and most likely touched up by InDesign. And yes, our webmaster "Jill" is a strange one! She kind of forced her way into the job. She threatened to kill all our pets. But thanks yet again! :D

I apologize for putting my link there. On second thought, I should have just put a link to a thread on RECORDINGS as I do not want to take any attention (as little as it may be) away from these awesome cabs that is gonna take my band to victory!!! :bassist: okay, well at least it'll make our rehearsal studio crumble down around us. :bassist: :D

I'll post a new thread this weekend under the right section to get some opinions. Then after I stop crying, I'll get back to admiring my new Schroeder! :hyper:

The Low End Distribution website has a lot of pictures onsite from Summer 2004 NAMM, including pics from their Schroeder display.

Some of the basses in these pics are just unbelievable!

Nice basses.

[Looks at bottom pic on first page]

But hey, I didn't know Goldberg played bass! ;) :D

Cool, looking forward to YOUR opinions..

+2. You're the one of the reasons I'm getting an iAmp 800, so it better sound good with that Schroeder 1210 like you said it does! ('Cuz that's what I will be getting as well.) So eventually, we'll be bass rig buddies! (expect, I'll be using* a Bag End 15 as well) :bassist:

Sean

*EDITS: I gotta stop writing posts at 2am and when I'm in a rush to get to class. Too many bad mistakes. And in the future, try and fix my errors for me when you quote me. Thanks.

It does sound great with the iamp800 - that's what I use with it also.

Guess what? I just came home to find a mesage on my voicemail from Jorg. Nothing in particular - he just wanted to know how my experience with 1210 was going. I'm going to send him an email later, but in the meantime...

Jorg, if you're reading this:

I still love my 1210!!

Although anyone who's been reading my posts could probably have told you that already! :)

Jorg followed up with me too, after I had some time with my 1210. It's great to find someone that cares that much about his product, to follow up with people to make sure all is well. I like that kind of service!!!

Thanks Jorg!!

OMG, how cool is that!? Now, THAT....my friend...is service. :)

well i finally have something to write on this thread to end all threads. i just placed an order for a 21012. now all i have to do is wait. ahhhhhh
by the way, i must say that jorg is super nice and super prompt. he has answered every email i sent him the same day. he also called me twice today(once while i was writing this). super nice guy. he really makes me feel good about buying a cab sight unseen. it is truly refreshing to talk to the man in charge when dealing with a company instead of a "customer service representative" or such. hats off to you jorg for your professional manner and obvious love of your craft.

oh and thank you james hart for sharing your experiences with the schroeders. hell i could have ended up with an eden, oh no!(jk!!)

:ninja: no problem... Eden wouldn't have been a bad choice, lots of players sound great through them! Schroeders are just better to my ears for projecting *my* bass voice :bassist:

Congrats on your order... I'm waiting on a 1212 to add to my 1210 :smug: I can't wait to hear it stacked on the one I got. It should wound the sick and the young!!!!

I must say, Jorg is one of the nicest people I've met on the internet. He is genuinely concerned about his cabinets and the people that use them. Since everyone is posting "Jorg" stories and I don't remember if I posted this or not... My 1210 was sent FedEx Ground, which has been at my house quite a few times (and my house was built and addressed in the 40's). The delivery day was a VERY rainy spring day.... ZERO visibility on my own commute home at points. Well the Driver musta not had enough time to get to me and tagged my order as "unknown address" Within 10 minutes of that being posted in the tracking, Jorg had emailed me (a couple actually) AND called Fedex AND called me. I got the cab without issue the next day (I knew it would)... but Jorg definately goes the extra mile.
He's also pretty dead on one gear reviews... him and Brian Barrett have both been IMO/E. I can ask either an opinion on stuff and know I'd come to the same (Brian turned me on to both Schroeder Cabinets AND Benavente Basses... I'm forever indebted to him for that! Thanks Brian!!!).

I just bought one of those nice hard fiberglass tonneau covers for my truck yesterday, just to dind my eden 210XLT is juat a hair too deep to get it under, and closed. I came to the amps forum to check out micro-rigs (who knew the bed cover would be a GREAT excuse for GAS), and came across this thread. Looking forward to Jeff's, and SMASH's reviews!

Actually Jeff, I did read the first 10 pages, every post of this, and most of the other 6. I even got to read Kaz daydreaming about them, and asking things that were already answered :)

Funny, I am seriously looking at these cabs, and an iamp 800 as well. I LOVE my eden pre and crown power setup, but I am thinking micro these days (uh, did I say that?) and am very interested in the 800 as well. Only problem I see with the schroeder cabs for me is the wait time, I am a very impatient buyer. I was also kind of bummed to see this "so small you will never notice" price increase will end up costing me about $100 (price hike plus shipping) over the original $599 shipped that they started out in this thread. Still interested, but by page 5 or so of the thread, I was sold.

Hi fellow groovers, after reading entire Schroeder thread + related ones, it seems to me that I found a solution for me. :hyper: Just need from you some reassurance..
Well this is a story: (yes it will be short) :o
Playing in funky band, three horns, loud drummer, I used to have Marshall 72410 combo 200W, 2000W peaks 4x10 (130lbs  ) Good sound, volume ok, but darn heavy (dont ask me about hernia..). Recently I decided to go lightweight and grabbed opportunity of buying used Eden WT300 + Eden CX210 cab. I like the head, but this cab is stretched to its limits using live (I hear it cry when I stomp the octaver..) Even combined with 1x15 its not cutting through enough live.

Now to the point - I need small loud cab. I like the idea of WT300+1210, but WT300+210XST also seems to be nice.
As I have to ship Schroeder to EU, the final price for both cabs is going to be the same (about 800-850 USD).

Which one would you recommend?

I dont have the opportunity to try these cabs personally so I'am asking you. Thanks a lot.

Brian, you are right, but I'm using it now with another 8 ohm 1x15 cab which gives 300W to 4 ohm and it still feels overwhelmed. Before, with that 200W 4x10 Marshall combo I never needed to dial volume past 2 o'clock, so I "think" 300W Eden could be sufficient. Moreover it is two cabs which increase bulkiness factor. Thats why I look for one louder 4 ohm cab. That nice Schroeder 1210 could be a solution. Or a more efficient 4 ohm Eden cab. Any comments on 1210 v. 210XST (XLT) ?
