For the Canucks that have been asking... I live in Ottawa and I got mine today with no customs fees at all!
REALLY nice strap. I've always went with the $10 bin before but I'm very impressed with how this halves the weight of my pbass. My only concern is that it rides a bit low for me (I'm short and a nipple-rider), but I think I may actually like the lower position now that I feel light as a feather.

Yeah, this is a pretty nice strap. Also, if you don't love the two tone colors, you can flip it and use the 'all black' side. 
The bad news is that I lost a decent wider leather Levy's strap the other night after a double stacked gig night, so this will replace that. Theoretically, if you don't mind a long dangler, you can get this about as short as you'd want to as well.

Negative- I'm at the shortest point and wishing it was still a couple inches less.... But I'm trying to embrace the new position haha
I wear my bass pretty high, too. And I've learned that there's definitely a sweet spot for me where I can play floating thumb fingerstyle, palm muted fingerpick, _and_ slap to my best ability. Pretty much need my strap that length, period.
Didn't want the tail of the strap dangling below the straplock, so I just started the threaded part of the strap at the end of the wide piece, and ran it to the uppermost slot before putting it through the slot and weaving it back toward the end. That shortened it enough.

Hey, has anybody put Schaller straplocks on? I didn't have any luck getting the lock nut started on the threaded part; leather was pretty thick.
I believe they are made in the US, at least the first batch was. Great strap!
Here's an update for folks who prefer Schallers, like me:
When I first received the strap (from the release before the current one) I was vexed because I couldn't get the Schaller lock's nut threaded on the thicker end of the strap, the part that attaches to the upper horn of the bass. So I put Dunlops on it (have a stay-at-home bass with them), and the strap mostly sat in the closet. My gigging basses are fitted with Schallers because IME they're more secure.
So a few days ago I had something of a du-uh moment. The problem is that the nice, burly strap end (three layers of leather) is too thick to allow me to start the nut on the lock by hand--so what if I took a small bar clamp and compressed that spot on the strap for a while?
Squeezed it tight, and let it sit for a couple hours. Took the clamp off and voila! Was able to get the nut started, and now I'm slowly snugging it down, bit by bit. The leather is gradually compressing as I turn the nut more.
thanks --- does it have country of manufacture labeled on the strap anywhere? anyone know current status of manufacture country?
Now *THAT* thing is an personal/acquired taste strap. I *hate* having my bass bounce around like that....but a lot of folks swear by it.
What bouncing are you talking about?
Why would it cause a bass to bounce?
It's not elastic.
It doesn't stretch.
Unless you are bouncing around.

I bought a One Strap in 2017, and then another one in 2018. Needless to say, I really like them. Very comfortable and well made, and most importantly, my chronically in pain back is not hurting as bad after using this strap as it did with other straps. I was going to try a Pinegrove Leather bass strap because I love the (hand-made in the UK) guitar and mandolin straps I ordered from them, and they have marvelous personalized customer service. What made me stick with One Strap was that they’re 3.75 in. while the Pinegrove bass strap is 3 in. wide. What I should have done, and I think I will now, come to think of it, is ask them to make me one that is wider.
I bought one in 2017 and another in 2018. I love mine. They really are one of the most comfortable straps I've used. I bought another padded leather strap from a different retailer for $50 and it's not nearly as good as I had hoped it rubs against my neck and I'm constantly aware of it. I'm hoping SBL does another run soon because I plan on buying 2 this go around.
Me, too. The build quality is excellent, and I enjoy that about the straps, as well.
