Should have checked forums before ordering :(

So I sent an email to Loopmaster earlier today. Not only did he reply almost immediately, but he said my order would, most likely, ship next week, which is two weeks earlier than I had planned on. :hyper:

That's not helping, is it? :D

Seems like there is one these kind of companies in every sub-forum. In basses, it's D. Huff. In Amps, it's Dr. Bass. I don't think Nose is quite to that level, but they aren't doing themselves, or their rep, any favors by treating you guys this way...

I feel for you guys that ordered from Nose. I do wish you the best of luck.

He is still sending out his stuffs and he just got a new worker.
The problem is why cant he just stop taking order so that he can fulfill his current order first.
SFX is doing it, Iron Ether did that also and i kinda have better respect of them as a business in comparison to Nose..

41 days & still nothing from Nose pedals .... I'll wait for a while longer but not past Paypal dispute cutoff.

Def last thing I ever order from him.

I'd go ahead and file a dispute. I've learned from other similar situations that is usually the only thing that gets any action. You can email until your fingers bleed and they don't care. But that Paypal dispute shows up and suddenly the customer is always right and y you're #1 priority.

I'm going to give it a while longer .... I already got the pedal I needed somewhere else & it is not much money. I am actually curious how long it will take

There's a lot more to running a company than a website, a Paypal account, and a "cool" name and logo.

Looking for a buyer is never a good sign the current ownership is still committed or interested.

You see this every so often on Kickstarter or in the indy game business. Some young person, with the best of intentions - but only half a clue, takes in a fairly large pile of cash for something - and then fails to deliver.

What follows is both aggravating and cringeworthy as the backers or customers first receive a series of excuses for the delays and promises to get caught up; then some pleas for patience and understanding; then an admission they bit off more than they could handle and a half-apology for it; and then…silence. Emails and posts go unanswered and the person in question drops off the face of the earth. Afterwards, sometimes fraud charges are filed by the state prosecutor's office.

There's a famous comic of a dog sitting in front of a computer typing. The caption reads: "On the Internet nobody knows you're a dog." Something worth keeping in mind when buying something off the web. You sometimes have no idea if you're buying from a bona fide business, a 16-year old kid flying by the seat of his pants in the basement if his parent's house, or a guy who's just importing and rebranding something he gets from some Asian sweatshop.

Anytime I'm dealing with somebody small, I make a phone call first. I'll also take a look at the street address via Google Earth. If nobody answers the phone - or there is no phone number or postal mail address (as there often isn't) - I go shop elsewhere.

YMMV.

Just go with Loop Master. I've ordered two loopers from him and I always get my stuff within the exact time frame he advertises. No BS, no hassles, no millenial/hipster special snowflake BS. Just good, solid quality workmanship from an obviously capable builder.

Thanks for the business but lol,..I want to get one thing straight; anyone is always more than welcome to email me at [email protected]. The FAQ is just that. "Frequently Answered Questions" :D

+1 I've always had my emails answered from Loopmasters work is top notch and he'll build pretty much anything you can dream up. I also have a Nose volume pedal it's also great quality but I've had it for awhile I think I got one when they first hit the market and to the OP it depends on how bad you need it I think you'll be happy with the end product but if you feel like you're not getting the customer service you need then get a refund and go with Saturnworks or Loopmasters.
