Should I trust basscentral?

Haven't bought anything from them, but visited the store while I was in FL a few years ago. They have an unbelievable selection, and allowed me and the group of bass players I was with to play anything we wanted, for as long as we wanted without hassling us or trying to make a sale. Got some free swag and took a couple pics with Beaver. They have earned my business, although I've not been able to buy anything from them just yet.

Beaver and Grasshopper will do you right. The only thing to do is check the website and make sure it says its still in stock. They will leave pictures of recently sold pieces up so you can see what else they may be able to get for you at some point.

The store is smaller looking than you'd expect, but the vibe inside is awesome! It's a toy store for bass players, and you'll want to hang out there all day. And, you never know who will walk through the door! Beaver and Grasshopper are two truly great guys, very knowledgeable, and super nice. The store will be a must-stop anytime I'm in the Orlando area.

I don't want to leave out the rest of the staff, they are all great, very helpful, and go the extra mile for the customers. This is the way it's supposed to be....Beaver, if you see this, know that you have a fan for life!

I purchased several basses from BassCentral and they are straight up guys there. Their website isn't always up to date, so you might see a bass on their site but when you call, it's already sold. However, they may have another similar one. I usually either call or email and ask what they have available (of a certain brand, etc.) and they'll usually email back a list of what they have. Mention that you're a TB member and I think they still give a little extra discount. I've always gotten fair deals from them.

I've been dealing with them for a little over 2 years now. Great company to work with. I have bought a total of 5 basses from them and they have always treated me right!

The first bass was the Breast Cancer Awareness bass that was made for me by the Music Man company. They ended up donating 100% of the money they would have made off of that bass to our Relay for Life team because my wife had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. At that time I had never purchased a thing from them. Beaver did that simply out of kindness as what not asked to do so. Needless to say, they have my business for life. Same as Music Man ans since they are Music Man's largest dealer, they are who I order all of my Music Man basses from.

Bass Central and Bass Northwest are the most reputable companies in the industry, despite the fact that both their websites are straight out of 1994. I love looking at both sites, takes me back to when the internet was in it's infancy. I was around when both of those sites started. I'm old. :)

I would add a few more (limited number) of dealers but agree.

BC is a great company to deal with...I bought my first 2 Lakies from Bass NW and also could not have been happier!

I too remember the days of slow internet and simple web sites....

all of this talk is making me wonder about my business web site...maybe it is time for an update!
