Those SA knobs
I've probably asked before, but do you have a link?
Lol, yeah! I've become a big fan of Source Audio gear. I never gelled with the SoundBlox range. But I really loved the One Series Aftershock. It set a new precedent in digital pedals and the first time I found Digital dirt really working well. It kind of started a journey with the brand. They do things very differently to other brands. They make one box solutions that tend to focus on one type of effect and they do them extremely well. You ever tried any of the Source Audio stuff?

Most of their pedals are literally "best of breed" and their pedals have a habit of growing and taking over one's board. They are a lean small company that go toe to toe with the big corporates and make some of the most innovate gear available.
I'm a big fan of the Ultrawave, it's such an amazing piece of kit. I've written a number of dedicated patches for guys on this forum that use this pedal and were getting stuck with it. Uploaded them to the community, this impressed Roger at Source Audio so much, they are sending me a new Atlas Compressor as a token of appreciation. I'm totally blown away by their generosity. I'm not funded by them, I usually buy all of my own gear and I like the freedom to be able to buy the best. The Atlas is another in a long line of great products from Source Audio. They are (IMHO) the most innovative company in the guitar pedal world, they don't just re-use old algorithms and put a bunch of Cab sims and IR's on a pedal.
My current. Just added the tech 21. I keep trying to get rid of the Plumes, but it's a solid pedal. On its own it sounds like it sucks out the low because of the mid push... but in a band mix, it really helps give the bass some presence (and the Q\strip adds mids back in). Also tried to ditch the StroboStomp because it's big and heavy, but I just like it way too much. So easy to see and I have the display on at all times.
For a while, I was able to get good sounds out of the Tall Font Russian muff, but for some reason I can't get it to sound good right now. Just sort of disappears or is too boomy or distorted. I've had it just right in the past, but have to readjust to this setup. The germanium boost side is great, though.

Could you move the Tap up to the right of the Microtubes and then fit a Becos Mini in that slot?I'd really like to have an external compressor (currently using a compressor model in the HX Stomp), but every time I try to build or plan a bigger board I keep coming back to this size. Even my Rockboard Tres 3.1 board is too cumbersome; I'll probably just sell it.
Luckily, the HX Stomp is an absolute godsend for players like me. The flexibility contained in this tiny box is just mindblowing.

Nope, not a chance. There's very little height to go on there.
Also, I need that tap switch up front and easily accessible.
I'm considering trying to jam a mini compressor under the board (since I never turn a compressor on or off during a set), but it's pretty cramped under there as well, especially with the height restrictions imposed by the slanting board.
It would have to somehow fit above the power supply, underneath the lip of the board, but I don't think there's any way of making it fit.
Trying to fit it below the power supply is not possible; there's nowhere near enough height clearance there.

Maybe a different compressor like the Fairfield Accountant?
