Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Nope, not a chance. There's very little height to go on there.

Also, I need that tap switch up front and easily accessible.

I'm considering trying to jam a mini compressor under the board (since I never turn a compressor on or off during a set), but it's pretty cramped under there as well, especially with the height restrictions imposed by the slanting board.

It would have to somehow fit above the power supply, underneath the lip of the board, but I don't think there's any way of making it fit.

Trying to fit it below the power supply is not possible; there's nowhere near enough height clearance there.

see, what I would do is redrill the power supply holes to make space! ;)

I'd really like to have an external compressor (currently using a compressor model in the HX Stomp)View attachment 4694776
There are some great small compressors out there, like CompIQ MINI Pro Compressor Pedal for Bass & Guitar – BECOSFX, that you might be able to squeeze onto your existing board. If you use it always-on, then it might be a candidate for mounting underneath?

EDIT: oops, asked and answered. I guess I should be reading ahead before I comment. Second observation, great minds think alike :D

I really love this one.
1.-The boss tuner is my all time favorite.
2.-The kelley bassist is the best compressor for those like me who hate or don't understand compressors, really really sweet pedal.
3.- MXR vintage octave is the best boss OC2 in the market even better than the OC2.
4.-ibanez Mini Analog Delay, sweeeet delay.
5.- Cusack Screamer Bass is a bass moded tube Screamer but with really nice selection of bass frequencies and gain is very usefull, clipping options are really nice too specially scotchies.
6.- Morley Power Wah Fuzz, does it cliff?...YES!!! I like to do some special effects with it and solos with it and it win the war against the dunlop.
7.- Ibanez Mini Chorus. really nice chorus can be lush very present in the mix or tamed for just a bit of effect. Its an 80s lush metalic (sweet child of mine) one or a 70s dark one with the mix control.
8.- One control Blue 360 this small preamp its a graeat studio or live Tool I never played a 360 head an cab but I played 220s, 340s,370s head and it does the trick really well. Nice gritty Low mids cutting the mix like butter.

BassPB+Solovushka_23052022.jpg

I use this setup in my second group, which performs author's songs,
as well as several covers, some of which are rather parodies,
because we write our own text to a well-known melody, close in message to the original.
As a synthesizer (except Keeley Synth-1) I use
Soviet children's electric musical toy "Solovushka" ("Nightingale"),
which I modified by adding passive HPF, LPF,
octave change toggle switch (G4-F6 | G2-F4 | G0-F2),
toggle switch for symmetrical diode signal limiting and volume knob,
also brought two tone adjustment knobs to the front panel instead of trimming resistors on the board.
And of course, an on / off toggle switch and an LED as a power indicator.
Instead of batteries, I installed a socket through the LM7806 and an output socket for jack 6.3

Boss LS-2 I use here as a mixer:
• "A+B Mix | Bypass" mode is always on
• I connect the bass to "Input"
• "Solovushka" is connected to "Return B"
• "Output" to the pedalboard.

For "Solovushka" I created several patches in Zoom MS-60B,
so I can easily alternate bass and keyboard playing.

As a stand I use a tripod from a building laser level.

Have you compared the cusack to a plumes or any other screamer type pedal?

whoa my post saying I just had a tuner got deleted?? what the fluck? I knew getting back on this was a bad idea- yall enjoy your echo chamber

coming to the effects forum and saying I don't use effects is "tell me you are trolling without telling me you are trolling" - it's literally rule #1 for the forum.

Made a couple swaps and quality of life improvements to my Metro24.
By using the EBS flat cables I could have got everything in a nice line, but I actually like having the EQ and compressor offset. Since they are basically always on it reduces my chances of fat-footing something I don't mean to. (It's happened in the past! lol)

1: Swapped to the Keely Bassist compressor. I'd been wanting more of an always on gentle leveler than a compressed "sound" and this seems to be able to do that well. Also by running it after the EQ I can kind of fine tune the compressor response by altering the EQ.
2: Added Rolls PM55P to facilitate headphone practice when I'm not around my computer/interface, and also to allow for the use of IEMs on gigs even when packs aren't provided (monitor routing setup permitting of course.)
3: Swapped to 1Spot ProCS6 underneath. Made the whole setup cleaner/faster, and also makes the occasional use of non 9v pedals much simpler.

Signal goes: tuner > preamp/eq > compressor > octaver > overdrive > headphone amp.
(If using an amp, that signal comes from the 1/4" out of the VTBass. The xlr from the VTBass goes to the Rolls which handily also has an xlr pass-through for recording or FOH use.)
