Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Do you need a PC to get that Berg up & running?
PC not needed to get up and running. Take the SP out of the shipping box, apply power (9v/500mA) and plug in…nice bass tone immediately. Does not come with a separate power supply…

You can then explore the additional on-board features, make new tone shapes (ie comp, od, distortion, fuzz, filters, eq, gain levels, etc)—save/name favorites (up to 21 presets) as desired.

As an additional tone shaping option, you can use a PC to download Berg cab profiles from their website onto a mem stick. Insert the mem stick>>SP, quickly upload (will hold 12)… I use my iPhone, iPhone camera adapter, and Files app instead of PC…

Thanks- I’ve got a Bergantino cabinet, and my hope is to run into a B Amp II or the SP come April on the used market- it’s the preloaded cabinet features that interest me.

Made me a small and modular board. Sometimes I connect a midi controller with the stomps and a synth, but sometimes I only take the two stomps.
It just made sense streamlining it down to a minimal.

Did those XLR jacks fit through the TA slots?
I was wondering if anyone would make that observation;)

I use a small Dremel metal-cutting bit, and take out a small section (hole will look like Mickey Mouse ears)…smooth the edges/touch-up paint. Absolutely doesn’t compromise the strength of the board…

Can’t find a pic, but I’m building an exact same pb setup for my good friend @ExaltBass this coming week—I’ll take a pic, after his board is modded. Btw, he custom makes those low profile xlr patch cables…

If I hadn't already finished my new pedalboard... I would have bought some too. @ExaltBass posted his cables on IG after I was done. :(

EDIT:
Might as well post a pedalboard setup pic....

Dave... I may still buy some of those sweet XLR cables from you in the future. I'll let you know.

You absolutely can, just find your preferred impulse responses load them and you're good to go. Most time the BassBox running in ears to FOH unless I need some effects is all I need for those type of gigs..

Good to know. I adjusted it to tube amp/8x10 boogie and it sounds pretty good. best ive heard it through headphones actually. gonna hook it up to my alto pa this weekend and see how it sounds pushed through the air.

What's the pedal with the Sandman on it?

its an INFANIM Compact Faye Sing. optical phaser. i use it as a voice adjuster for dirt effects. mostly to make angry robot growly noise. works great with fuzz.

I figured as much. I have had to do the same with my TA boards in the past as well. I was hoping you found a non-surgery option!

I swore I would not go down the fx pedal rabbit hole. And so far I've kept to that goal. My gig [both w/ and w/ out amp] & studio boards would have to be complete & self contained.

There's a certain type of Zen achieved when you decide on the pedals, their sequence, sufficient power capabilities, and cable management. It's an even bigger challenge on smaller boards w/ limited space & options.

My current [and hopefully final] mini board fulfills all the requirements:
-3 fx pedals
-includes more than enough power
-includes tuner
-all in one self contained unit

Looking forward to reaping the fruits of my labors w/ 2 gigs this weekend.

I made some further changes to my dream pedalboard:

- swapped out the Triangle Big Muff for the Nano Big Muff
- took off the Crybaby Wah Mini
- got an Aguilar DB925 preamp
- finally got my hands on a secondhand Ditto Looper - this thing has been OOS since forever!

As a mere hobbyist I keep going back and forth in my mind between having this number of pedals and downsizing to a Pedaltrain Nano+ with just five to six pedals. For now, I'm loving this setup.
