This travel board is meant to be used where I don’t need many effects.
I will only have a strobostomp tuner, an Empress bass compressor and my Darkglass Vintage ultra preamp on it.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much $$ did that run you?

Small board configuration for the next several weeks. Mostly country and folk rock so synths are not necessary.

The Genzler isn't really hanging off the board. Just my sucky photog skills in play... The board fits into the bag just fine.

The Genzler is primarily a room problem solver and master vol. Sometimes, The Genzler DI, sometimes the Quilter. Tonight is the only night in the run that I'm not in the FOH. Maiden voyage for this setup.

For this run, small stage foot print. Compact MAS 15/6 cab, Quilter Bb-800, a Cat bass and/or a Starfire II.

Off topic, do you love the Cat?

Not sure this is still compact but certainly making the most of the space on the RB tres 3.0.

I pretty much had space for the front row and anything above had to be 90 degrees to fit but now it fits great. Still got a Model FeT to get on there once fixed but then it's complete (for now).

Needs some neatening up underneath:

Theres also a Thumpinator v2 hidden away under the shelf:

Question on the MicroThump. What is it doing that the HPF on the S1 isn't already doing?
It's also a line Buffer and seems to condition the non-adjustable snipping at the best location according to SFX. While stating it is NOT a compressor. It does also state that it can reduce the need for compression with the way it acts on the infrasonic information created during the initial attack of a note.

It can be placed almost anywhere in the signal chain before the power amp.

The mT is a fixed hpf…25hz cutoff, with a really steep -36 dB/oct slope. It cleans up the very bottom-end mud/allows my B string to remain super defined, deep/rich. Very noticeable a/b’ing.

Then I use the S1 variable cut off (-12 dB/oct) hpf only for further room dependent need. Have found I use m-u-c-h less of the S1 hpf, which is better for the bottom-end (open B on up) remaining very pure/intact…defined. Had a good friend convince me to try the mT…quickly became a believer with my ears—purchased two!
