Hello everyone

I finally completed my rig/rehearsal transportable pedalboard. Completely silent. I also use it at home because of the phones out of the Ultra.

Looks tidy, as I've come to expect from your posts!

Just curious, since you appear to be one of the few folks who put their envelope filter in front of their distortion; are you ever using both effects at the same time? And if so, how are you finding they play together? There are absolutely no rules when it comes to pedal ordering, but I'd say dirt-after-filter definitely goes against the more conventional wisdom out there.

Thanks !

I actually prefer envelope before dirt most of times. It sounds wild ! Like a crazier version of a funky bass line. When used the other way around, it sounds more gentle, more reasonable. The enveloppe filter sort of polish the harshness of the distortion and makes it softer.

But in this case, I don't use the Darkglass as a distortion but as a clean preamp and a last in the signal chain EQ. Useful to go sans amp and play with headphones although it doesn't really add enough color as a clean pre to my taste. It clearly is a utility tool here.

I like how clean, neat and organized your pedalbord is. I'll take a look on Dess products too, seem impressive.

How are you enjoying that Oracle?
I haven’t had a chance to test out the V2 through the PA that I’ll be playing through most but I’m planning to do so tomorrow. (I previously owned a V1 and really liked everything except for the form factor so I sort of know what to expect).
