Show me your compact pedalboard setup

I’m really happy with my current board. I’m using a PT Nano+ with a Cioks Sol mounted beneath. The signal path is: Peterson Strobostomp HD-Origin Effects DCX Bass-Mesa Boogie Subway DI Preamp-Two Notes Opus and it’s all wired up with EBS flat patch cables.
Lately, I’ve been playing with the local community college jazz combo so I’m doing lots of silent practice through the Opus with only the occasional gig. However, the current configuration of my board is super flexible and allows me to cover any use case I would ever encounter beyond that.
With my board I can record direct anywhere (with direct to console or high quality cab IR tones), go amp-less for silent stages/IEM, or easily line into the effects return of a back-lined amp and still have high quality and reliable tones (with monitor routing flexibility!) while providing the same to FOH. What a wonderful time to be a bassist!

I love my Opus. It's the secret sauce for an ampless rig. Really enjoying the Peavey Babababass 2x10 and the Trace Elliott Green18 1x18 cabs the most at the moment.

My board these days.

I had a Cali 76 in between the two on a Nano. I decided to remove it and put these two on a Gator board.

I started playing Stingrays again. I figure I can EQ on the bass and fine tune on the Noble. I’m happy with how it is going so far.

Other nice thing is this board fits inside the large pocket on my Gator gig cases (both single and dual bass cases). I’m walking in and out with a bass and a duffel bag that has the rest of my stuff (IEM’s, stand, etc).

I have my Metro 20 with three pedals I’ve kept. You know, just in case.

Just dusted off my old pedal board from a decade ago with an almost total refresh. Waiting to get some some appropriate cables to get it all wired up, since the 6" ones I have are too short to get it laid out the way I want it.

Used to have an IE Oxide with a Phase 90 which I regrettably sold after leaving my band way back in 2014. After a long hiatus, I'm back in the band and having a blast. Just got the Doom 2 and Octabvre and they sound amazing. I'm especially pleased to break out the bypass looper I made in 2012 and had my then 2 year daughter paint for me. She's 15 now:eek:

took the noble out the bigger board and assembled this small compact board noble w/ cali76 laser etched and some 3leaf tools. i like stacking preamps and in this case the little black box adds a little grit and boost. i will eventually put barefoot buttons for easy engagement specially the octabvre. what happened to the bigger board you asked? in the middle of assembly w/ the vulcan XL as the preamp(shown in the smaller pic) .i just have to finalize and attach power cables…

I bought a suitcase for $5 (Aussie dollars) at a local Salvation Army shop the other day so I got packing!

Since I got my Super Bassman amp last year I found myself no longer needing overdrive pedals on my pedalboard. Heck, even the preamp/DI came off now so it’s a noticeable mental departure from the years past.

The revised pedalboard is the most compact yet. I’m liking it 👌

Fender P journeyman Custom Shop w flats > JHS little black buffer > Keeley Comp +, 80's OC-2, JHS Moonshine V2 (bc blend knob), CE-2w, Barber Electronics Linden EQ.
Typically into Fender Rumble 40 for band rehearsal. Aguilar AG500 and Aguilar 1x12" DB cab for gigs.

Pedalboard is amazon 'ENO Music" EX stompbox pedalboard. and Power supply is True Tone 1 Spot pro

I've lately found bypassing everything and going bass direct to DI to interface works better when doing home recording

That looks really effective. Tell us more about the tone of the moonshine.

Love this, I have 2 old suitcase I grabbed from a street corner and I just keep spares in them but I think it would be a great place to tuck away a couple of nano/+’s

Now, if you came across a similar picture before with less pedals on it and something like "The final version" or "My finished project" in the description, well, I lied! Now THIS is the final version 😄 Plus it's getting more and more COMPACT 😉 With the addition of Darkglass X, things started to get interesting. I'm attaching a sound sample (only hardware, no plugins, 40:60 dry/wet signal mix). Forget the crap I play there, it was just a soundcheck with some random drum loop, but the sound is pretty wild!

Well... See you in ~6 months, when I shall look forward to your post with the latest "Final Final" version of your board.

Bass Jive came in yesterday, and I got to mess with it while transcribing some songs. I really like the character it has, it’s a great addition to the “clean plus grit” setup I use for one band. This group uses amps, though, and I use a Broughton SSDI as my preamp (then Baby Sumo -> 2x12), rendering the Finally kind of pointless in that setup. So I’ll have an extra spot. Might pick up a Zero Five Lowrider and see what that’s all about, but more likely will add a second dirt/grit/saturation unit as an alternative to the Jive, with one set a bit more aggressively than the other for heavier tunes. Don’t know which pedal that would be yet, though.
