Started playing at church about 18 months ago, and they are an IEM setup. Having only used amps, and mostly tube amps, in the past I went on a deep dive, searching for the best setup for the tone I prefer. After trying some hybrid analog preamp / digital ir cab sim combos I bit the bullet and got a HX Stomp. This has now been my locked setup for close to a year and I think this is the final form. I like having the external compressor and the MBD was the winner for a dirt pedal after trying a few. I use a Canvas Mono DI/LI off the board when I need to run direct at church, works great with the HX Stomp. IMG_8307.jpegIMG_8308.jpeg

Latest update. I need to tidy up a little bit, but I think it is nice as it is

The Cali76 is in the effects loop of the HX Stomp. Cioks SOL underneath. It is a D'addario XPND. It is useful because sometimes I also use the Rolls PM351, so I can make the beard bigger to include it next to the Capo.
Don't get me wrong, your beard looks great in the avatar photo, but I'm not convinced it has enough structural integrity to hold a Rolls over the course of an entire gig... 🤣

M-Vave Tank-B took pride of place on the pedalboard, because after a recent performance, both the sound engineer, and the musicians, and some people from the audience noted that the bass sound became denser and more focused.
True, I had to take the Shure receiver out of the pedalboard.
And the pedal under the receiver in the photo is just for testing after minor repairs.

My boards have been stable for 3 months now after lots of changes earlier in the year, but I'm about to change up the power set up.
My Cioks DC7 is moving from my Rockboard Quad 4.1 to my Duo 2.1 so I have usb power on that that board. Quad 4.1 is getting the Ghostfire FH5 with the IEC through powering a RB ISO6 IEC which has usb power and can power the HX Stomp with a current doubler. The FH5 will power my LA-1A. A modular set up with extra capacity if things change.

Spring school holidays are coming up in OZ and I’m gonna be seeing a buddy I haven’t caught up in a long while. He is a fantastic surfy ambience player on both guitar and bass. Naturally, I am putting together a new pedalboard for the jam session as we will be taking turns on guitar and bass.

This would have been a compact board if it wasn’t for the SurfyBear spring reverb!!!

Final safety inspection before the gig.
EH C9, Orthos selector (blender), and Dr. J Sparrow preamp/DI. The box used to be one of those suitcase record players which died and was irreparable, so I gutted it and kept the two 3" speakers and 5v power supply to make a 3watt mini amp build into a pedal board.

I’ve gone through a few iterations of my small board and it’s still a work in progress. I removed the TC Helicon Duplicator and now the empty spot is driving me crazy. I have a need to fill it with something but not sure with what. All the pedals above the board have been cycled over time. Just seems like the Stomp provides everything I need for a “direct board” with my rock band.

Maybe a midi pedal, drop pedal for better tracking (HX does pretty good) or one of those pedals with a tube for some “analog warmth”?

My fly board in GLXD16, HXS, MXR M81 Preamp. Works great. Other options would be TH DI V1, Jad Freer CAPO if they fit, but if i recall they are too big for Nano.

I just play local and run direct into my PA. Preamps don’t do me much good because I use the amp sims in the HXS. On the occasion I patch into house sound, I give them a split from the isolated side of my ART S8. The HPF is great for amps, but direct I just use one on the mixer channel. All the other pedals, drive, compressor are covered by a similar model in the HXS too.

Maybe I just need a smaller board or convince the band to add some songs with bass wah so I can pick one of those up. LOL.

A Rockboard Duo 2.0 fits a HXS and GLXD16 nicely.

Man, love a red HX Stomp. Something pretty rare on the American side of the globe.

Suppose I'll contribute meaningfully to this thread as well! I can say without a doubt that this board is the one I'm most proud of after all previous iterations. Lots of trial and error over the years buying used, wheeling and dealing, and cobbling things together, but I finally gave myself permission to go after what I've decided I really like and put it all together this weekend. Not the most compact compared to some, but for what's shown, a very tidy/compact footprint.

Chain is Shnobel vol/tuner pedal > 3Leaf duo > HX Stomp w/ DCX and MORE in FX loop > Cali76 > Rehearsal > Quilter Interbass usually for amp/DI purposes. In addition to what's on top, all the individual pedals are running off of a Cioks DC7 and the HXS is running off a Crux. Also gave the new(ish) Fender Blockchain patch cables and go and I'm really digging them, both in form and function!
