I was kicked out of my basement studio by my 19 year old son (he needed the space) so most of my stuff that gets played regularly is in my office. It is a mess but you get the idea. I play all 5 of these basses almost daily.
My Foderas and FBass are on the stand and yes, I need to clean my duct cover.

That's a lot of cool in a small space...
They have a living room and I live around them...small place. I'll have a bigger one again sometime I hope.View attachment 526640

You make all Torontonians and of Canada proud with this pic.

Are you in a Rush tribute band? Nice gear!!

Great gear!
Personally, I would state that you are looking to for a Rush tribute band or play with others into Rush instead of titling the add just "Rush". Also, do you sing? I think most musicians would assume the bassist of a Rush tribute would sing the tunes.I'd kill (well almost) to be in a Rush tribute band.......
(got an ad on the Chicago C/L)

I don't sing though and I have an idea to do it instrumentally....
There have been replies but not that many and the few that have replied have not followed up at all.
The ad has only been up since November so I'm going to give it time.
Does it read alright or should I add add/remove or change anything?

Great playing on Marathon BTW!
Cool.Good idea with the title. I should put tribute in it.
I do not sing enough like Geddy to pull it off (asthma gets in my way) and I am not so interested in the singer/frontman thing because everytime I see that with a Rush tribute it just doesn't work for me. (fistpumps, posing and lame banter)
I loved the opening of the R30 tour so much and have always thought the medleys they used to do were great.
That inspired me.
They have a lot of instrumentals to begin with and by playing those and adding big musical chunks of songs like Hemispheres, Xanadu, By-Tor etc along with some other stuff weaved in with cool transitions and arranged in a way to keep the audience interested.
If they are bored with looking at us I thought a screen with constant images of Rush on it throughout the set (and I'm thinking opening band 1 hr-1-1/2 hrs??) would be cool.
It would be my dream to have a musicians Rush tribute and do something different and unique.
