Show off your bass straps...

Walker and Williams 3.5" black leather padded. Extremely Nice strap for under $30 on Amazon. The planet waves 3.5" polypropylene padded.works nice for me at $17. I have a couple Iron Maiden straps Killers and # of the Beast from Perris Leathers in Canada, nice too for under $20, I got one for $12. For slinging low there's nothing like an Ernie Ball, but the older I get the low slung Peter Hook and Simon Gallup style of playing is much harder.

Would like a Levy's like Geddy Lee's but too expensive and I think his are customs anyway.

ive seen some one (it may have been Tame Impala bassist?) with like a 4" wide woven strap. classic woven colors and wide as heck. ive tried looking around for one but i havnt found anything. anyone know about these?

Nothing fancy for me, a 3.5" wide unpadded plain soft leather strap with no designs or ornaments on it. Understated yet functional, how I like playing my bass also.

I'd love snakeskin, but the snake needs it worse. I have thought about having my ball python made into one when she goes. Of course, she's only a couple of years old, so she may be having ME made into a strap. (~30 year life span)

A human skin strap now that would something i do know someone who made his amputated leg into a lamp haha

I got a 3" x 50" piece of heavyweight natural cow hide, cut it to size (I play Jazz/Precision shaped basses), punched holes/slits. I treated it with oil, and rolled it over a metal bar to soften, and protect it. The rough underside means no slipping. The width keeps the fatigue down, and the custom length means no buckles or loops.

Here's my haunted bass with it's brand new strap. It came from a heavy metal kid who was moving up the instrument food chain. It had one of those Dimarzio twin clip rigs and every mark on it (and there are a lot), look to be a direct result of the two plastic buckles. As you can see, it has it's own little star. I like it that way.

Anyone know where I can get a longer strap of the Levy's style? My T-bird has the strap button on the neck heel, so it sits a bit higher than my other basses.
