Here's my '09 Honda Ruckus. Nothing quite like 50cc's of raw power between your legs. :D

:D

I've been actually thinking about a 50 cc scooter. Around here, it's allowed to drive a 50 cc on most sidewalks/bicycle lanes except in the busiest downtown, we have an extensive bicycle network around the city, and it's dirt cheap to have one. Maybe I should change my 600 cc and it's expensive insurances to a scooter :spit:

My friend keeps two of those in his motorhome. He and his wife love them. They actually go pretty good with my fat 275lb ass on them :) I only rode them around the parking lot at Daytona and Sebring but I guess they would go pretty good on the road. The fat tires make it ride nice and go over rougher terrain really well.

Oh, the teenagers love the 50cc's around here. The legal structural limit for a 50cc is 30 mph, but many of 'em go around 40 stock, and some kids illegally modify theirs to go even faster. When you see a cop car pull up near a youth hangout, there's a bunch of semi-legal scooters scrambling off to every direction - they give a lot of gray hairs to the traffic cops around here :D

I saw some stand up scooters at Sebring that had 125cc motors on them. They had suspension and offroad tires and went like hell. I have no idea who makes them but I want one!!

There's nothing like couch on wheels for long trips!! Riding to Daytona is about the max I can handle on the Fat Bob. Once there, I'm limited to what I can carry in a small pack. I'm not buying bags for it, I want a second bike for that :D
Ha ha. I've ridden to Daytona for bike week twice from Philadelphia and once from DC by way of Deal's Gap for biktoberfest on my GPz. :) The GPZ isn't a "couch on wheels" but it definitely is a proper sport touring bike. For long rides it's really nice to have a bike that was designed specifically for eating highway miles.

I had both a GPz500 when they first came out, then a GPZ750 when they came out, and then back to a 550 when they went to the uni-shock rear swingarm and I figured I just didn't need the weight of the 750...great bikes!

That sounds like a fun bike. I'm at the point in my life where I no longer care to work on bikes other than very minor stuff and changing the fluids. I've had lots of projects over the years but now I'd rather spend my spare time fishing :) I'll be happy with a second Harley set up for touring.

What... no Moto Guzzi yet? Well, here's mine...:

What... no Ural yet either? Well, here's mine...:

Good ole Guzzis! My dad is the #1 Dealer for Guzzis in Texas, last I checked. I love 'em. The new V7 classic :D

Love that Ural too, but I'll stick my real BMW haha. I'd love to check out a Ural though

Is your dad with Eurosport cycles? If not, where is he?
I'd like to go look at some of the new stuff. It's been some years since I looked at guzzis.

He owns MPH Cycles in Houston, Texas. Their website sucks at the moment, but sells all the new models,as well as Hyosungs (for some reason). Used to sell MZ's until they went bankrupt

well, nows the time to pick up a sweet deal on a used geezerglide, with the economy the way it is, & with a little cash in your pocket, you can pretty much take your pick.

i picked up this FatBoy at a ridiculous price, & with the upgrades that i've done i'm still way ahead.
