Nice!! I miss my Busa :bawl:

"hayabusa"

we used to always call those "hey-you're-busted" because the one guy I know who had one had a string of tickets longer'n'yer arm

I sold my Duc when I went unemployed in the spring of '08. I still have my ZRX, which admittedly just ain't as kewl, but it's much more functional given that I could only keep one, and it holds true to what I want in a bike: a big motor and two wheels.

I have probably half a million miles on BMW's, but I just don't have the time to take off for weeks at a time like I used to. I do miss having a nice fairing, and big saddlebags sometimes...

I've been considering putting the RT fairing onto my R80, but its just so damn ugly, but I bet its great for cutting out noise and wind

Aesthetics v. Comfort...Hmmmm

I always kinda liked the RT fairing.
It's *really* functional. As long as you're moving, you're pretty much gonna stay dry.

I had an R80RT for years. A little shy on power compared to the R100, but, I thought it was smoother.

I'm sure its quite functional, but its just so...early 80s. I also don't have my tank paint matched to official BMW color.

Thanks, your Dyna is looking pretty sweet too.
It is a different kind of ride, that's for sure.
Way back when I'd never picture myself riding a "couch with wheels" but damn it is comfortable! :D

There's nothing like couch on wheels for long trips!! Riding to Daytona is about the max I can handle on the Fat Bob. Once there, I'm limited to what I can carry in a small pack. I'm not buying bags for it, I want a second bike for that :D

Anyone check out the new Honda VFR?

Yea, I went up to the Cleveland IMS... My thoughts are, I'd really like to ride one, BUT... it might be heavy, but you dont feel it. The seat is nice & low, & easy for a 5'8" guy to flat-foot it, & toss it around w/ just your legs.

However, its a Sport-Tourer w/ a 4.1 gal gas tank, & a range of 150 miles... & costs $15999. Add 1-1.5 gallons to the tank, & drop at least $1k off of it, & I'd change my mind.

But for now, I'm lusting after Yammys FJR, or the Kawa ZX14.
