Well, no one seems to be showing an Iceni Zoot so I guess I ought put mine up (although I can't seem to get to grips with posting pictures!):help:

It's funny what a really nice four-string can do to change your perspective. I played a four-string for my first year of playing, and then was a diehard five-or-more player for the next eight or nine years. I bought two other four-strings during that time and neither did anything for me. Tried several nice ones- still pretty much nothing (except for this one Hill Custom....)

On a whim last Christmas, I had my wife get me an Elrick bolt-on four, and suddenly I didn't feel as limited as I had on other fours. It still had the same number of note choices as all the other fours, but it felt and sounded so nice I began happily finding new ways to play things when I didn't have the extra string to go to, rather than feeling forced to on the other fours I tried/owned. Since then I've gotten three Elrick four strings (was forced to sell one and miss it terribly) and a Stingray four. I sold the Stingray as it didn't give that same feeling that a really terrific four can (looking for a five-string duplicate of it), but kept and adore the Elricks.

Now I don't just breeze by the pics of four-strings like I used to.

This is a beauty and I want to see it better sooooo..........

1. go to photobucket.com
2. open a free account
3. browse and download pics from your computer
4. check mark the picture that is now on photobucket and scroll down and click "generate HTML and IMG code".
5. copy one of the codes (I use the "IMG images for message boards") and paste it into your talkbass message.
6. submit!
