What cabinet is it sitting on?
Cab is a mid-70s Hiwatt 2x15 with Eminence Kappa Pros. I'm trying out different 8x10 cabs, however. So far, the SWR Megoliath is the winner. Hiwatts are a bit picky with speakers, and the original 15" Hiwatt Fane bass speakers are near impossible to find. The 400 amp is rather rare, too. It took me years to find one for sale outside of Europe.

Two rigs here; MB 210P combo and an Ashdown Little Bastard pushing the Carvin 15in cab. Also use the Carvin cab with the combo when I need "extra...."

One of these days I'll get a better 15in cab, but, the Carvin sounds pretty good for what I use it for.

Hey all,

New to TB...and Bass for that matter. Been a 6 string player for years, and always wanted a bass, but everytime i had spare cash...it always went to another 6 string. :-) But finally got myself a bass and amp. I was pretty excited about the amp find...craigslist...10 min drive...and 50 bucks later i ended up with this little gem.

Its got some cosmetic issues, and i think the driver was replaced at one point. But it works great. With a little TLC im pretty sure i couldnt have gotten a better combo for 50 bucks. Ill probably never gig with it. Just use it at home to learn bass and maybe do some studio recording. Watcha think?
