Now, when I want to get really insane, I can always power the 5 EA cabs, the Boogie, the Eden, and the Ashdown off of the PLX 3002, and slave the Walkabout/Epifani rig off of the Eden Navigator (or vice versa). The RAD Bass felt left out, so it gets to either ride shotgun off of one of the other pre's, or, I can put it first in line, hook a CD player up through the RCA inputs, and my bass rig can act as a juke box in between sets! The Stewart felt lonely, too, so I am sure that it can be worked in somewhere.

Now, to find a gig where I can actually use all of this stuff and still have room for musicians onstage... :bassist: :D

Yes, but what I REALLY need are roadies! Actually, with the exception of that Boogie 4x10, I don't mind hauling these cabs. I'd rather carry two 75 lb VL-210's than one 120 lb 4x10 any day. I actually do plan on running 8 cabs off my my PLX 3002 at an outdoor show this August, though I will likely substitute the two Epifani cabs for the Boogie and the Ashdown.

Yes, and as you can tell, I had to look long and hard for just the right color combination for my psychadelic carpet. And don't even get me started about how long it took to find those drapes!;) Actually, the instrument hangers are pretty much my only modifications to said room.

So, out of all them goodies, which set up is your personal favorite?

Well, right now that Walkabout/Epifani Mini Rig is probably my favorite. But then again, that entire rig weighs about the same as one VL-210! For a larger venue rig, it really depends on how loud I will be playing. I'd actually give the edge to the Boogie/Eden rig in lower volume settings, or possibly the VL-208 stack. The VL-210's definitely like to be slammed the loudest. However, I'll probably use all five EA cabs where stage room allows. The EA/Epi combination that I posted earlier rocks pretty hard, too.

Yes, there is, and she is a very understanding companion! My saving grace is that I was a gigging musician when she met me 14 years ago, so she knew what she was getting into! That said, the Boogie 4x10 is probably going to have to go. Even though it was my first "pro" cab, and I still love the sound of it, because of its weight, I don't use it much anymore.

Basically, I am allowed to spend whatever gig money I make on whatever I want (we're talking bass gear here, get you minds out of the gutter!). The bigger issue with her is where do I store all this "stuff." ;)

But I can definitely say that I am a lucky man. Yes, indeed. [And I am talking about the wife, here, guys!]

I have the M-Pulse 600 (and I have a Korg DTR-2000 and Furman PL-Plus in the rack).

Hey, you owe it to yourself to check out the new Aphex bass pedal unit. I'm telling you that thing is AWESOME!!! I know its just a pedal, but I have never heard anything that can change your sound like this and I've owned a lot of gear (like you, lol).

Oh yea, almost forgot, the Mesa head does match up great with the NV610. I tried the new Mesa 6x10 and Powerhouse 1000 (4x10 plus 1x15) cabinets and didn't really like them. I think Mesa's older cabs were much better. The Bergy can eat both of those cabs for lunch, seriously!

But the Mesa head is heaven for me, no other amp can do what this head does!!!
