It's nice to see a fellow Gearaholic! I've picked up a ton since this shot was taken, but here was my last "Kitchen Sink Rig" photo:

Since then, I have added a VL-110, CX-310, Wizzy 1x12, another T-112, Raezer's Edge Bass 10, Mesa Boogie Diesel Powerhouse, Jr., and a Whappo, Jr. On the amp side, I picked up an iAMP 800. Oh yeah, I also picked up a new digital camera!

Wow I'm truly envious of the Accugroove! You're going for both quality AND quantity. I'll bet that my V8 would make that speaker purr!!!

I bet it would! I am looking forward to putting it through its paces with my PLX 3002 this weekend. I can tell already that it is a special box.

Tom.

There she is! How beautiful is that?

I *love* my PLX3002 but it's less forgiving than an all tube amp; all mistakes show through. This has made me a better player.

That's both the blessing and the curse of very transparent gear. ;) I totally agree that it has made me pay much closer attention to what I play, and that over time, I do believe that the transparency of my gear, itself, has been a definite factor in making me into a better musician.

Later, Tom.

Ha, I like the abstinence sticker. How do you like the Peavey ?

i got the sticker from the old guy at cornerstone with all the stickers. i really like the peavey. it has a ton of power and it gives my bass a good punch and a lot of low end. i dont know how to describe it. it does to my bass what a bass amp should. not too much coloring or anything...just reproducing the sound of my bass with a little eq control and a tube channel.

Here's my new rig. Just got it yesterday :). All of it was 30 percent off of what guitar center charges for it...

so Ampeg classic 810, and classic 350 head.

I went SS over Tube for many reasons. I don't really want to pay for retubing every year. When something is breakable, I'LL be the one to break it. So any thing remotely fragile, ie tubes... just wouldn't be worth it at this stage of my playing life :P.

Plus the 350 sounds HECKA good!

Sorry about the bad lighting on the pictures. I'll get some better ones when the sun goes down.
