Where do you live? I'll be over with a truck in 5 minutes to pickup your gear :spit: Very awesome indeed- I have been looking at Ashdown stuff lately, unfortunatly the Cabs are way over priced in Australia- yet their heads are pretty reasonable in comparison to other heads / Pre-Amps.
I have desided on the RPM1 Evo II preamp when I get rich oneday :bassist:

Hehehe Here is my current setup.

Amp: Gallien Krueger RB400 III
Cabinet: Hartke 210XL
Basses: Fender American Jazz Bass (2005)
Spector NS2004 (Just sold)

It does the job quiet well, I quiet like the GK head- At first I was concerned it didn't have enough power for bigger "situations", but it has prooved me wrong. The Hartke cabinet has caused some problems with one of the speakers crapping out after 3 months use :crying:

On the list of things to do- I will be replacing the Hartke speakers with Eminence Delta 10's, porting the cab, and change the rear plate also so it has Speakon & 1/4 jack input/ext- Bassicly I am using only the chassis. I will also be building a 1x12" cab to fit under it to offer some more lowend.

Ashdown RPM1 Preamp & a Crown Power Amp are to follow but thats a long way off yet :)

What cab do you use with your Ampeg vintage head ?

Freshmeat - Thanks for your comments. Yes, thats a chrome red P, and the sound is fantastic, thinking about a review, if there arent a lot already. (PS - What a year to be born dude! :-D)

Cúl-Báire - Thanks again, but it might take a little more than 5 mins to get your truck from Australia to the UK. And I wanted the RPM too (see some threads by me recently) but I wouldnt have used the extra features and would have paid more for the ABM series only for the better coverings.

How's your TV like having those big unshielded magnets next to it? I can imagine that the picture bends all over the place if you play bass with the TV on...
at one point it did, but I moved it just enough not to, and i dont crank the head that much so the speakers dont move all that much
