Great strings, really love theire sound. Just I think they would sound even better on a fretless.

Cheers,

I see a lot of threads started about bass color schemes.
My favorite style basses are typically all black basses. Rosewood or ebony fretboards, painted necks, painted headstocks, black hardware, etc. The more black the bass has on it, the better.

Posting pics of basses with black paint with metal flakes, transparent black finish, maple necks, natural headstocks and chrome/gold hardware is cool too.

There is a "black n' maple" thread

S'ma jazzy bass....first and only bass I ever bought new. Straight from the factory in Kalamazoo.
Peeled the protective paper offa the pickguard *hoo-whee* one happy kid.
Still play it everyday. Photo on right is me playin' last nite. Photo on left is from a couple of years ago.

Been toyin' with the idea of a white pickguard. yay/nay?

Yeah enough black! Maybe if you treat the fretboard with lemon oil it will get darker. Try it out if you didnt allready.

Also there are quite some people here which didnt read the first post, which said "all black" basses with rosewood or ebony fingerboards. I see quite some basses with maple fingerboards and other non black stuff...

:smug: I would recommend that those people with maple boards pay a visit to the
