SHOW YOUR DISTRESSED FINISHES!

I think this thread need more pictures :)

Basses below are not mine, I found it in the net, from EastGloves Custom website (the website seems not really ready yet tho)..and while it might be 'extreme', but their art are very unique.
(warning: graphic pictures/basses :D )

I'm glad you posted these as I didn't want to (my competition!) I do like this example a lot and can't figure how they can sell it for so little. I thought about buying it myself just to study!

LOL I don't think anything about competition or alike,..I just love to see them (although they're not exactly my taste nor my preference style) when I googling, and I'd like to share it in here.. I also don't know how little/how much they sell, I even just know about them today..
About your works, I enjoy & love to see them & all your threads about them (that I knew LOL I 'm too lazy to search in TB..)..and I remember that I have an unfulfilled 'request' to you about bass pics of your work LOL..but that's fine, I understand, ..
only I think maybe your gildaxe website needs more hi-resolution pictures than what're there now.. (only my 2 cents) :D

Nice, how long have you had it for?

Well I bought the bass in...I want to say June, 2007? Most of the wear on the upper arm carve that you see actually happened in the last six months. I received a pair of silver and turquoise bracelets that belonged to my grandfather for Christmas, and the one on the right wrist really did some work on the finish while playing with a pick. I hadn't meant to inflict that much damage, but I can't say I'm terribly upset by it. Here's what it looked like in July of last year:

Kinda hard to see ... old photo and low light.. but you can see where I rested my thumb most of the time lol

nice! cool western shirt too! I have a embroidered vintage H Bar C shirt that I bought in a thrift store for $25 in the 70's! I thought that was a lot of money back then!

Sure is! Plays like a dream. Only problem is it only works in Active + Treble Boost mode right now. Gotta get the electronics sorted out.

Sweet! I have 2 custom/hybrid basses w/G&L L-2000 pu's/pre but I don't own a G&L! I think the pre is the best w/so many useable tone colours.
