I dig this. One of those combo’s I wouldn’t think would work on paper, then you see it and I’m still not sure if it works but love it.

Awesome J bomb + ! Yah, the BMM (looks to be late '65) is pretty awesome. I love where you can see the original more lavender at the elbow bout. In certain light my Firmist Gold Metallic Supersonic (Pat Wilkins) looks almost BMM. You can see that on the upper horns area - looks almost golden.

Really pretty mahogany - I love the tone of mahogany basses, I bet is sounds great!
Yeah, the Sonic Blue is a FCS relic made for the Guitar Broker. The BMM almost looks like Guy Pratt's bass with that divot near the pickguard right where the thumb wear is on his bass.
EDIT: The Gibson is a refin as well.

I seem to recall the white J he played for awhile with The Rolling Stones was a '66 also.
