Show your Les Paul style bass!

Hello everyone .. I'm tominjo.from Serbia. I found this site and liked what I have in it the theme of LP stjle bass. I bought a bass guitar that is very old, but it has no label, as is clearly painted me so interested that you may have some of the visitors of this site know that the guitar is concerned

Here is a bump. I'd be interested to see if anyone can ID this bass. Seeing as you are in the former Yugoslavia, maybe someone familiar with the basses in your part of the world will have some input on this. Typically you have to give it about 24 hours before the comments start coming in. Also a headstock photo would be helpful. My guess would be that this may be a Jolana?

EDIT: I would also add that if you start a new thread to ask this question, it will get better noticed and should get more responses.

I had my requisite LPS Epiphone for a short while.

It played very well, had yards of sustain and generally was in great voice.

It was also made of concrete and weighed about the same. It was also used, and with those two strikes, I used it as trade-in fodder.

Looking at this pix, Gee! That was two years ago:::

From that point on, I only buy new --------- or build it myself.

I kinda miss it - but don't really. :ninja:

Pickups for a semi hollow fretless Les Paul with a 30" scale? Sounds like a custom build. It depends what sound you're after. What are your tone goals? A raw hot rocking passive tone or a hi fi active set up with multiple tone shaping possibilities. If it's in the spirit of a Les Paul Bass, I'd recommend you throw in some dual humbuckers like Rio Grande pit bulls, DiMarzio X2n or get some Gibson TBplus buckers if you can find them on E-bay. TVJones pickups could look good in an LP Bass but they might not be as hot or aggressive.
