Show your Les Paul style bass!

Just thought I'd shake things up in an apparently dead club and post a pic of my 2011 Les Paul Standard Bass (chambered)

Cleanest early Les Paul Special bass I've ever seen. Not really TV yellow, more like just yellow, but still cool with the black hardware. Too bad it only comes with a gig bag. I'd be worried about it surviving shipping.

I messaged the seller and they will throw in a hard case, so I bought the bass. Sorry guys, you snooze you loose. This bass is headed to NH.

Anyone here familiar with Peerless? Yes, I know they've been around for a long time behind the scenes making guitars and basses for other companies similar to what Court and Samick have been doing for many years, but has anyone ever bought an actual Peerless Bass? Came across these and I am smitten. Especially the Flame Maple. I understand that these are chambered.

This is pretty much Gretsch's take on the Les Paul...or at least I would think so, at least for the inspiration...
Picked it up today at lunch break:

Now I am at work thinking about this beauty. What is worse is that I have to attend a Planning Commission meeting tonight for a municipality our firm represents as municipal engineers so I won't get to mess with this until after 9:00 PM tonight! Arrrgh!!!!!

Here is the clincher $999 with the OHSC. This is a 2017 model. Amazing deal!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Les Paul (shaped) Bass guitars.

Here's a couple of mine:

On the left my home built fake Gibson with real Gibson guitar pickups.
On the right my favorite the 1969 Les Paul bass

3 pups?

Yes. The Brooks 1 has two single coils plus a Mudbucker. The two single coils can be switched to work as a humbucker too by the way.

The Gibson BFG Bass has three humbuckers.
What years did these come out? Only asking as I never saw them on the Gibson website and never heard of them until now. Were they a limited run? Are they chambered like a LP Standard? Long scale? Please tell me more.

Chambered body, but still quite heavy. (Body is rather thick).
