And I like to share my hapiness
Wish I could. It was a 1978 Bassman 100 with matching 2x15 cabinet. Still had the unsigned warranty card in it when I bought it. Think I paid $250, IIRC, for it in the early 80's.
A friend (? -- make that former friend) I loaned it to pawned it. Then wouldn't tell me so I could get it out. When I sued him, he skipped the state.
(sigh) I still miss it. Best sounding head I ever had. My first real bass amp.

I got my '67 blackface from my brother who bought it as a guitar amp. His backup amp was a '68 Silverface like yours. They sounded exactly the same. Ultimately he decided that he needed less juice, the bassman amps needed to be pushed too far to sound good for anything he was doing, mostly playing rock clubs with me on bass. When my other brother bought a Deluxe, he found his final shangri-la in a new Blues Junior (yes, there were three brothers in the band, guit/guit/bass, all singing - backing vox was like cheating). $379 seems like a good price for a "transition" blackface like mine.jimbilly said:

I sold both of mine (a Blackface head/cab like the one above, and a '70s Silverface head) years ago. Never regretted it.
Useless bass amps (underpowered, inadequate output transformer), suitable only for guitars, or misty-eyed nostalgia.

Also had a blond 1x12 cab with a tone ring (read ported) from 1961. These are pretty rare, but have a deeper bass tone than the 2x12's that replaced them.

I put together a website of my rehab job on a '77 Bassman 50. Plenty of Bassman 50 guts pix. Oddly, I forgot to take a pic of the front
