It's a factory Music Man pickguard. They call it "Orange Swirl".

Hi gang, I just intalled a new black Fender pickguard to replace the original off-white one. I ws inspired by blondmix3's very nice Lakland Bob Glaub 5. It makes it kinda more... orangey like.

I cant decide if I want to get a white on maple EBMM SR 4HH, or oder an orange one just like up above. That was the first SR4 I ever GASd for. Horny Toads, that is.

yeah i have alot of time on the couch with my computer...
If you can find a copperhead bronze stingray that would be my choice...
i have a bit of a hybrid as well...
buttercreme with copper wash pg.

And I may take you up on that offer of checking out your basses. It would be worthwhile to check out some nicely setup EBMM, and meet you and see how youre doing.
But that picture brings up another debate... rosewood, or maple. Im usually a hardcore maple guy, bt rosewood looks sooo good on some of these MM.

VERY nice!! Is that Sunset Orange? I've been tossing up a P Warmoth build forever now - been thinking of doing SS Orange w/ a tort guard and a maple fretboard . . . great to finally see one w/ a maple board and dark pickguard. I'm SOLD!!

You can;t actually order either of those colors anymore...
You can't order white? That's the most common color other than black that you can get. Other than natural, I mean.

I was going to say, I thought those were both super popular colors.
If I ordered one through GC, with the colors I wanted and they were standard colors, would it cost anymore than buying the one they have at the store?

that depends on the individual store.. Its been my experience with guitar center that you can get better prices on whats in the store if its near the end of the month and people are trying to make their quotas.. Generally the floor models are what they are going to deal on. a custom order could go either way.. Hit up Beaver at Basscentral and talk to him about your options.. He has always taken great care of me finding me the best price.. And probobly has what you want in stock or on order...
