Someone gave me crap for saying this on a thread about what do you prefer, lined or unlined fretlesses but I think an unlined fretless bass is sexy as hell! For me ... my personal opinion, lined fretless basses look ... cheap ... even the high end expensive ones. To me and Alembic Series II lined fretless ... a $16,000.00 instrument looks cheap because of the fake fret markings. Again this is just my opinion, no right or wrong, my personal opinion.

I'll post a photo of my Modulus Quantum 5 string unlined fretless probably this weekend. Gotta actually TAKE a few photos then lean how to post them! :-)

thats a weird thing to say imo. I think lines can look quite classy, especially so short lines that don't span the width of the fretboard on the likes of F basses or Yves' Drozd. Colooured lines that compliment the fretboard or lines that are barely noticable are also really nice. But then, thats just me

Oooooh, I like that bass.
I've thought about the G&L basses. I like them. But the fivers have the strings too close together for me and I really, really don't need another fourbanger. (At least I don't need another fretted four, but fretless, hmmm . . . )
