Patent filings aren't public for an interim. We have the term "P.H.A.T." registered as a TM in our class and the patent for the technology has been filed. It was filed after a lengthy, legal and technical review committee process.

I'm afraid that is the last comment I'll make on the patent or technology- as I'm not an attorney and I only stand to say the wrong thing which would not aid our customer or dealer i n the end anyway.

Anther great product from Genz Benz. Still not what I would like.

I'd like a 12" combo with the Max 12 front and maybe the 6.0 power. Then I can get the tone flexibility of the 12 with the simple power/cab needs of a combo user who has PA support for most gigs, and just needs 400 or so watts for monitoring and smaller venue gigs like jazz quartets, background music, etc.

I can't quite justify a Max 12 with a NeoX 112. Although that is basically what I am asking for.

So why not get the Max 6.0? Same power as the Max 12 into a single cab, and smaller/lighter.

What you described would be very close to the Max 6 amp..
I use my MAx12 and a tiny Bagend 1x12 for small jazz type gigs... I have my sadowsky 5 in my gigbag on my back, the shuttle max12 in its gig bag on my left shoulder and the BE cab in my right hand or left... i still have a hand to carry my water bottle... and that small cab with that head will easily keep up with a medium playing drummer too.. and i know the same with the MAx6 head into that rig.. Im just saying.. its so simple... all that in a size smaller and much lighter that an average 1x12 cab.

Unless you really have your heart set on a combo style ( all in one) setup. Perhaps GB has a set of the Mounting brackets to mount the Max style heads to the cabs like the Invalid Link Removed units. i dont know..

But i will say that the for me , i do a real WIDE variety of gigs. I mean Real Wide.. and the Max12 is the only amp that has been able to do any and all of them with ease..and i have played just about everything that has been invented over my long and drawn out career.:D yup i may look young and pretty but im an old geezer:)

Yes Im a GB endorser.. Im also a gear head. .. but im also a straight shooter... No BS..so i try everything out there.. anything i get my hands on i try out.. its in my DNA.. from the Mesa M6, Thunderfunk, Markbass, Pre Poweramp setups, SVTs, Hiwatt, 370, 360, gold faced amps, clarus,db750s etc.. The list is seriously sick in length from Vintage to Modern .. They all make good gear and none really have any faults except they are not my thing and cant do the spectrum that the GB does effortlessly. So i sold them all that were mine or gave back the ones that were not mine...

The point is that I only use my GB heads for a few years now... Nothing has been able to what they do. And its light for when i need to go..

Kirk, Roger and Jeff made me swear to secrecy... It has been hard...but I did it. The 9.0 was great for me with the Uber210's. I needed more headroom when I only used 1 of them. With 1 8 ohm cab I would hit the clip light ( with my 6.0) on occassion but when running the 9.0 I had sindle cabinet power for days. My band was actually mad when I had to box it up and send it back. I took no live pictures when I ran it because I would have been tempted to post them. The cool thing is with the extra %50 power you can get VERY clean by backing the gain to stay out of the tube and you still have power to push. With a 4 ohm load holy cow. Whe I ran dual Uber210's or the 4 ohm Uber212 it was FATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTtt

I really need the 9.0 and im not super happy with my main set of 12s right now (another brand ) ... and feeling the urge to go to 10s after a Millennium... But what people have been saying about the Ubers.. mmmmm I need to get a pair of Uber 2x10s.. been saying that for a while now...mmmmmmmmmm
And since 90% of gigs have house support i dont need the 4 1x12s anymore... a pair of 10s would be more than enough and that 9 head set flat with 2 clicks bass would be very pretty ,, just thining out loud .. GAS attack.. true gear head,,, aficionado
