Is there an amp that just has gain and volume?
My point is that it's a suggestion that will not work. A bass, even an active one, driving a passive DI, does not have nearly enough gain to drive a power amp directly, sans pre-amp.Our new friend seems to trash every answer that he gets in all the threads he started. He’s looking for a knob-less kit, I suggested one. Is it a good suggestion? That’s another subject.
Like in spinal tap. Why don't you just make 10 louder on your amps, and then, you know, if you want to go louder, you turn it up to ten? "These go to eleven."Why not just get the amp you need, set the "unnecessary" controls flat, and ignore them?
Only if you want EQIf you have an active bass, do you even need a pre-amp pedal?
A bass amp with no eq is like going to a gun fight with a knife..
Understand what exactly?
That does not answer the question.Because the one I need has nothing on it.
2nd on the DI/Power amp.
That`s my live setup.
Why some people want to make life more complicated by insisting things be simpler.
Just buy a nice amp, set it flat and pull the knobs off so you won't be tempted.
