Except if you have a pre-amp pedal with eq
Because the one I need has nothing on it.
Could I go via a DI pre-amp pedal?
I have a MXR pre-amp DI
What were you planning on doing with that space? Why do they have the EQ? What a waste of space.
It is a great sounding amp. Immediate and authoritative, and the two-knob EQ is simple and easy to dial in.I literally just found the Quilter 800:

It still has more knobs than I want but a lot less than others
Don't worry OP, I get you.
All my amps I end up running the EQ flat and the soundman is going to do what he wants to do to my signal anyway.
Perhaps not; you need to check the input sensitivity of the power amp to answer this.If you have an active bass, do you even need a pre-amp pedal?
Omit the power amp, just DI into an FR/FR cab.2nd on the DI/Power amp.
That`s my live setup.
Is there an amp that just has gain and volume?
I'm with OP. Never understood why every pedal and his dog (dog being the amp) has an EQ.
Why do you need 3+ EQs in your signal chain?
