not offended but theres some decent glens out there. glenfarclas can be good, glengarioch isnt bad either. both can be sweet but can be good now and then. im sure theres more that i cant think of right now.

McClelland Lowland Is Auchentoshan at 5 year age, like the Islay is 5 yr Bowmore.

The Talisker and the Bowmore are christmas gifts.........I have some wonderful friends.
The Ardbeg 10yr is tasty too, very different than the Bowmore.

I need a bottle of MacAllen 12yr to round that out..........

I tried the Talisker last night, very good on a cold Seattle eve :)

I forgot you were in Seattle...I was just there last week and should've invited myself over. I did hang out with a Vancouver bassist friend who introduced me to Aberlour A'bunadh however. Great stuff :)

yes. good stuff.

just found a local shop that carries the compass box range. highly recommended. all of their malts are great value for the money, really great, high quality stuff. their blend can be had for $40, too.. about the same as johnny walker black (!)
