Single Malt Scotch!

In the link before his post was some rolling tumblers (not flat bottomed). I think those are what he's talking about.

I use some similar glasses (barrel-ish shaped, but with a flat bottom) as well as Glencairns, depending on mood. I wish the Glencairns were a bit thicker, always think I'm going to break them!

I've never seen ones with a raised texture on them like the one in your picture, that's pretty neat!

I've got one glass Glencairn and four of the cut crystal Glencairn, and though the glass one is a bit thicker, none of them has taken any damage yet, regardless of countless clinks and some broken-for-sure hits and drops.

The glass in the picture is a hard one to find but available, and on sale through the 9th - Link Removed.

I got mine for $65 for 4 a few months back and now they're available for $54!

And there's a 10% off code 'laborday10' that expires today, the 9th. With that discount and plus shipping, the order came to $59 for me. Thanks for the link. Talk about an impulse buy!

Hey Bowmore fans, what do you think of the Legend? I keep seeing it but haven't taken the plunge yet. Newest additions are Balvenie DoubleWood and Crown XR (I know, not scotch, but...).

Legend is very, very good for its price. It isn't a title contender when fighting well outside of its weight class, but when you factor in the price, it's tough to beat.

Agreed, and its other value to me is it's so smooth and relatively "simple" in construction, it's a great introductory scotch for newbies... and with the low price, newbies can easily afford to "not like it" if they so choose.

I think it also does a good job of fairly generically/generally representing scotch so it's good in that respect for them, and as I've found scotch to be a fairly polarizing drink, Legend is a very effective tool to see which side of the fence someone is on without investing much money at all.

Good points, all the way around.

Legend is the one scotch I feel like I can always afford that also tastes really great.
After testimony like this I have no choice left but to search it out.
