Great story. Imagine if you had not noticed and someone bought the cab and brought it home. That would have been quite the surprise!

Seriously - it's a Godsend that you found the snake before leaving. If it first emerged in the store or at some buyer's house, a clever lawyer could clean you out for tortious damages claimed by a freaked-out human. Not to mention that the snake fared far better by returning to you rather than being approached by uniformed services in freak-out mode.

True fact. My sister in Colorado keeps a Great Pyrenees who will moan and sing along if he detects rhythmic patterns, at a steady pulse, when my niece plays piano. I can also get him to do it when I practice bass.

All I got out of this:
#1 A bad pet owner with neighbors who are used to snakes in their toilets.
#2 A girl named Gabby who says 'bro's cab' but I'm not surprised.
#3 An excessive use of emojis.
#4 The crummy pics on a crappy phone owned by a GC manager is expected.
#5 The fact that you're on your 5th snake.....see #1.
#6 The fact that you had a Traveler 15 and finally got rid of it and will probably trade the UA in for a Dean AEB.

Yeah, in Florida where there is a growing population of several large snake species, and lizard species...none good for the balance of that ecosystem.
I have a friend who had a Ball Python that he fed live rats to.
He was in a hurry to go to a gig one night and tossed the rat in the enclosure and left for the gig.
When he got back, the rat was still alive and well and had gnawed a few two inch diameter holes in the snake, the snake did not die but never really recovered properly, so my buddy killed it after several months.
I personally could never become attached to a reptile, to me it would be like becoming friends with a piece of furniture.
I obviously favor the domestic dog over other pets.
The domestic dog is the only wild animal that ever chose us to live with domestically.
I think all exotic pets are prisoners, not pets.
I hope saying that has not offended anyone personally.

An old friend of mine had a 55 gallon aquarium set up as a house for several rattlesnakes and they were getting out of it all the time. It was always creepy to go over there and him tell us one (or more) of his pets were loose in the house.
