So what did Santa get you?

My wonderful wife bought me an Ampeg Heritage 410 with cool sparkle cloth to go with my V-4BH head. Nice. And yes, I am worth it.

Heavy! How’d she bring it in the house? :D Does she have a second job as a roadie?

The reason I won't buy now is because things are all jammed up at the couriers, whether that's UPS, FedEx, or USPS. They're notoriously bad for damaging or losing packages this time of year.

No kidding--I'm expecting a notarized legal document to be delivered from Atlanta via FedEx. It was supposed to arrive today but didn't. The lawyer's office to which it was sent is closed tomorrow, but the lawyer made verbal arrangements with the FedEx driver that IF it makes it on his truck, he'll deliver it next door. What could go wrong? :banghead:

Love this beer...when you want a Porter, and something a little lighter at the same time...

Exactly.

Toilet night light.jpg A Collin Street Bakery fruitcake (which I love) from my brother, and one of these things - a toilet nite lite - from my sister. Who, is, much as I love her, more than a little.. weird. The fruit cake will be devoured pretty quickly, but, the toilet lite? I've seen waay too many Sci-Fi/Horror movies to want spooky lights under my toilet lid at 3 AM. Which is when the hideous, glowing, toilet monsters from Planet X like to eat your unsuspecting tuchus...

Couple nice long sleeve casual shirts (LL Bean and Ralph Lauren), brother got me a Bass garment dyed Henley, new (to me) Columbia Fire Ridge interchange coat (actually 2 gifts in one, since the liner is a fleece jacket). And a new pair of 505's.

Never get any guitar gear for Christmas, although last year I did get a couple guitar themed tee shirts.

Mrs. 'blue and I do not celebrate Christmas but instead buy each other stuff whenever the mood strikes anytime during the year. This is my delayed wedding anniversary gift, purchased and delivered this month of December. When discussing what to get each other for our 25th wedding anniversary which hit this past July, she suggested that we spend $100 for each year of marriage and split it down the middle. What a great idea.

So after about five months of deliberation I decided on an Oppo UDP-205 for my home stereo and our TV. ;) Oppo is on the middle shelf of my relatively humble stereo system. So far, very happy with my purchase. I've been listening to it purely as a CD player and it lives up to the hype.

I got one too!
Mine was seafoam green. Yours?

Nothing special, just the usual white paper and cleared it on the DMV website.
It took a bit to get off the "*** do you guys need to justify a new web feature" moment bc there's no reason to have sent me this notice.
Called my insurance agent and I haven't had my policy lapse in like 10 years, when I switched companies last.

Only bass related item I got was a pack of GHS' Flea strings I've been wanting to try on my Warwick.

I did however get a Yamaha YPG-535 piano/keyboard, a wood block for my drumset, and a Fender acoustic/electric single cutaway guitar. Got a couple of piano sheet music "fun" books like Beatles/Eagles, etc.

So overall a very solid music haul, just not much on the low end this year.
