So what did Santa get you?

Nothing musical (yet) but, here's our tree and a greeting to all with a local winter scene from a few years ago. Merry Christmas all :)

It was 1990 & I got CDs:

Black Sabbath - Tyr
Exodus - Impact is Imminent
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Testament - Souls of Black
Lita Ford -Stiletto

No, I didn't buy them myself, but I did make the list :smug:
I was stuck in Desert Shield.

That's the last time I remember getting gifts.

Sort of ironically we were ported in Israel at the time.
There was a tragic occurrence that week. 20 die in a ferry accident. I had to call home ASAP so no one there would think I was one of them.

Happy Holidays to all the servicemen & woman who can't make it home for the holidays.

I already made a post about it but the title made people get bent out of shape due to being thin skinned but I found another Epiphone by Gibson Accu Bass, the very first bass that I ever purchased brand new. I always regretted trading it in on another bass and so when I found this one, the wife got it for me and it’s now being shipped to me.

I didn't get any bass gear for Christmas this year, but no big deal. I didn't really need anything and my GAS pains are really pretty minimal.

I did buy myself an Ampeg Scrambler OD pedal that was a Black Friday deal (I really should be selling OD pedals I'm not using, not buying more ...), but I didn't wait for Christmas or put it under the tree. The only music-related things I got were two concert DVDs - Queen at the Rainbow in 1974 and Transatlantic's KaLIVEascope. Can't wait to watch them!

Once again ‘Er indoors proved to be irreplaceable.
Having lost nearly everything to the Thomas Fire I awoke to prezzies in the form of a new V3 Fender Rumble 25, Road Hog cable, a pack of picks, and Audio Technica ATH-M20 headphones. She’s a keeper. I know I should officially post in NAD....

There were clothes, books, chocolate etc too.

Whatever you celebrate (or not) this season, have a wonderful one.
