Songs That Make You Cringe

Horse With No Name
Seasons in the Sun

Most stuff done since the '80s, not kidding, but with particular emphasis on all rap, all dance music (especially that soulless robotic techno and Euro-crap with all the made-up sub-genres that sound the same) and all electronica, urban R&B Autotune bubblegum - god, what CRAP!!!

And all that emo sensitive-white-boy power pop too. Makes me puke, not just cringe.

P.S. hating Lady GAGa (which I do) doesn't make anyone "closed minded". That is an empirical fact, and I will bet anyone here that thinks otherwise that I listen to far more different styles of music than they do.

Its hard to buy that bolded statement after reading everything written before it.

Ugh, I didn't think of Wonderwall until I saw the posts above but that's another one that obliterates my brain cells.

The one that came immediately to mind is Afternoon Delight by the Starland Vocal Band. Pardon me while I stick forks in my eyes while I vomit. Hopefully that will help take my mind of both of those songs... :spit:

Pretty much anything by Lady Gaga or any number of hip-hop artists make me cringe!:spit:

After spending the last 8 years in a coverband that played Jack Johnson and John Mayer tunes, I'm actually pretty psyched to be in a band that does Lady Gaga. Bad Romance just kills on the dance floor..

Yep, my musical integrity went out the window long ago.

For me, cringe worthy is any song where the band just can't get obvious harmony or lyric lines right. My old band did "Slide" by the GoGo Dolls. The lead vocalist would always screw up the opening verse. 8 years together and he NEVER bothered to learn the right words.

And any band that attempts any Journey song with a sub-par singer.
