It's funny, I looked that song up not too long ago. I'd heard it here and there over the years but had never paid close attention to the lyrics. It's a good song - and it tells a story (which is more than can be said for much of what's on the radio today!).

The synthesized horns (maybe there's a real sax in there, right?), the wince-inducing lyrics, the cheesy keyboard parts, the awful "rap" in the middle... the only saving grace is, of course, the Tim Drummond bass line. Which might be a synth, too, yikes.

Pretty much anything on Sirius XM's Yacht Rock channel. Songs are so catchy and sing along worthy, plus a lot of them have really great bass lines! But I only listen to it alone lol.
