I read on one of the reviews somewhere that the small neotech pouch would work for the Sony transmitter.

Have you guys used one of those or are you just using the clip that comes with it? Is the pouch necessary or is the clip ok?

The clip is strong. I don't think a pouch is necessary.

Just called GC, getting ready to have to sent to Me, my only concern is that there is no , return at all. I guess if I don't like it, it will go on eBay or talk bass. Thanks for the info about this. !

The Neotech pouch looks like it is made of neoprene and would be a good soft buffer between the metal of the transmitter and whatever the transmitter might hit or bounce off of. It looks like good safe protection. Another good find. Thanks Sleepy for the find.

I wonder how well...if at all these would work for a rigged IEM. Basically use the transmitter hooked up to a board to send the signal to the receiver...and have the receiver attached to a belt or something....or is it too big? Since it uses a 9 volt it would technically be feasible ...as long as the receiver isn't too big. Anyone?

Got mine today. Since it is mono....if I want to use a stereo source...can I just use a mono plug out if the source (iphone) and run it into the transmitter? Then will all of the music come out or just one speaker? Or should I do a stereo to mono cable?

Unit is well built. With my bass I walked about 50 feet before I heard any static...could have been the channel. I plugged up an iPod and walked a ways further.

Also, any idea how to rackmount these? With plugs on every side it might be tricky.

Piece of Aluminum plate that you can mount dog ears to and bolt/velcro the receiver to it so you can access all the inputs.

Well TBers One of my guitarist I play with found out I had 2 of these Sony DWZ systems. Having heard my system previously He wanted it bad and I caved in so Im back down to 1. Oh well this one is not going anywhere!

Love the chord pbass. To the rest of you guys. These chords pbass is making are very high quality. Better then anything I've seen and way beafier then the one that comes with the unit. Plus its always good to have back ups. I would suggest ordering one from him, great sealer, great product.

Got mine sent to a local GC. Took a few days, but got the $149 price. Nice unit. It's my first wireless and I've already learned lesson #1: fresh batteries before rehearsal. I went and left the transmitter on over night before and it died after a couple songs. :'(

I ordered the 4 in. NeoTech pouch yesterday, I will let you know how it works when it arrives.

The NeoTech pouch arrived today via USPS. The pouch is very nice and thick. On the back side there are 2 Velcro straps to attach it to your strap there is also a neoprene sleeve that you can slide your strap thru. The SMALL would have been adequate for our needs but I ordered the Medium, 3 1/2"vs. 4" but it works just fine. I have yet to put it on a strap.

Pbass, on the cord your making does it screw onto the transmitter or does it just plug in? And what was the price for a duplicate of the original? Thank you.
