Oh, wow, that’s really generous. Just bear in mind I’m in the UK so that might pose difficulties.

I remembered that as soon as I hit send and deleted the post, but not before you saw it. :)

I will look into shipping issues before I follow through. I get discounted domestic ups, but I’m not sure what international will look like.

It’s more all the hassle with taxes and such that would pose problems (as well as the potentially high postage costs each way). I guess I could ask on Basschat if anyone here has one they’d be willing to lend me.

@rsmith601 @Gibs210 Hi Guys, is it possible to change the behavior in the Neuro app so that when downloading a patch from the "Community" tab it doesn't automatically shoot over to "My Library"? It is a nuisance to have to click back to Community each time after a download and then scroll back down. I forgot to mention this when filling out the survey online.

I second this recommendation.

I have confirmed that the workflow in Neuro 3.0 does not have this issue. Looking at mid October. Its a very big update.

Which is faster, switching presets on a c4 or ultrawave vs using a mortrix to 'morph' all changes from one setting to another via midi?
For ultrawave, I think the smoother sounding option is to use an expression pedal (or other midi device) to switch between one channel and another (or morph something). I feel like c4 behaves differently, but you could have a different sound going to left vs right and have your exp pedal set to the "balance" knob.
Switching to a different preset usually takes a tiny moment to change sounds.

I’d say presets as source audio pedals do not cope well with multiple simultaneous CCs. Even two at a time causes problems. You could program a delay time into each separate message to avoid this but, by the time you stack them up, it would likely exceed the small lag in changing presets.

Hi there. Just bought this pedal. I'm searching for a synthbass-sound, sounding like the intro of Al Jarreau 'Boogie Down'. The synth presets I have found, seem to be more for a drone-like 'vibe' sounds. I need a quick and precise responce, and short decay. Some presets on the pedal have this, but those are octave sounds, not synth.
Hopefully, what I'm trying to say makes sence :-)
Is this sound possible with the C4 pedal (suggestion to a preset, or how to make one?)
Or is there another pedal that does this better?

If you figure it out let us know. I tried dozens of presents and never found that type of synth sound. I read somewhere that to make those true synth sounds you need more voices than the C4 can provide (or something like that).

Close perhaps a cigar.
That song and album bring back some happy days for me so I took a stab at copping that tone saved as Boogie Down Al, bb. To be fair this was not played on bass here but by Michael Omartian and I would bet it was on a Yamaha GS1 or one of the prototypes for it. A truly magificent but quirky beast of a keyboard. Impossible to accurately replacate with my skills so I went for as close as i could to this live version with Nathan East doubling the synth part.

Thanks. Sounds good. I will try it out in a band setting soon.
