source audio c4

Any tips for consistently/reliably using this feature? I find that I have to try several times before the C4 "figures out" that I'm wanting to switch banks rather than save a preset.
Don’t make any adjustments to the preset, that’s the only time save mode will be active is after recognizing the pedal is no longer in its saved state. That or turn preset mode off in the neuro app.

Check that your pedal is set to Preset Mode on the hardware options page, this does not seem to be a global setting so I have had to check and correct that on patches I download from the Neuro Cloud.

I believe I have "preset mode" currently set to ON. I'll check that out later today. Thanks @Gibs210 --I might be making some adjustments before trying to switch banks without realizing it!

Preset mode enables the save feature. Default mode disables save. WYSIWYG the physical knobs override any saved settings to the preset.

Just uploaded some nice phaser presets that I’ve tried to match as closely as possible to an MXR Phase 95 and Maestro Orbit. They were created on Spectrum but will also work on C4.
Seems to be a weird issue with these presets not recalling correctly over iOS on my phone. I’m going to try them on desktop to see if that’s better. They sound totally different when recalling them from internal memory. I’ve encountered this before.

Edit - desktop seems ok. Obviously a bug somewhere in the iOS app.

@rsmith601 worth getting Jesse to try loading these on both iOS and desktops to see if he sees the bug.

Checking. Thanks for the heads up.

Very cool! I wonder if it would be possible to port them over to the Gemini / Lunar / I Forget The Other One family.
Possibly. Not sure if the ranges match up on the depth, frequency and Q but I’ll give it a go. Also worth remembering that the number of stages is mislabelled in C4. These are 2-, 4- and 6-stage phasers (not 1, 2 and 3). Really they are 1-, 2- and 3-notch as each notch yields two stages, one either side of the notch.
