Ah ok that's annoying, the tap tempo cc for the Stomp is 64. Would have been good to be able to tap them at the same time to get them in sync

You can remap the tap tempo to whatever CC you want to use in the desktop editor under devices.

There is a bug that I reported ages ago. The behaviour is the wrong way around. If you select Spectrum in the filtering (funnel icon), then C4 also gets highlighted when it should be the other way around. @Gibs210 could you flag this again please?

OK, newbie question here! Just got mine and got to fool around with the Neuro app on Windows. So I started loading the most favorited patches but I couldn't load some like Worn Out VHS, El Captain and Darkglassy. It seemed like it loaded but the sound was still the previous patch. Tried it many times, all others on the first page would load properly except for these three and I think one more. Didn't try a pc restart, just thought I'd ask if anyone's experienced the same or if there is an explanation. Thanks!

Those presets are not for the C4. They are for the Nemesis Delay (VHS and El Cap) and Aftershock (Dark Glassy). Only the C4 and Spectrum presets work on the C4.

I have the same expression pedal. Plugged into my soleman and from what I remember it doesn't have that intense jump in value from 30s to 99. I'll try again tomorrow and will report back.
P.S.: On the Melaudio review section for the same pedal someone suggested switching tip and ring connections on one end of the cable and that did the trick for him. I was prepared to do that myself but then didn't end up having that issue.

There’s probably a switch or a jumper inside (if not on the outside). Remove the baseplate and have a look.

I must admit, my C4 is being returned today.

Technically it's a brilliant pedal, but synth on Bass isn't really my thing when I've also got a midi keyboard and Laptop with DAW/Plugins to cover that better. 90% of my use for the C4 is for octave and filter and I like more hardware control - the Spectrum might have been better for me as the 2 control knobs have the 'alt' function.

With either the C4 or Spectrum though I'd still probably be thinking I want at a minimum to have a DMC micro and the EHX CNTL which would put the total price up above £350....that amount will go quite a long way on octave and filter pedals. Less potential variety in some ways but possibly better at doing their niche better with minimum tweaking? And the other C4 things like Tremalo and distortion are covered better by other pedals I've got.

Also, this is perhaps just me but I found myself spending hours hooking up Laptop/Phone and obsessing over fine-tuning, I like doing that with hardware pedals a bit but not to the level of obsessiveness I do with a Laptop hooked up but I can't stop myself, a distraction I don't need!

Interesting. I also predominantly use Filters and Octave effects also. However, my Proton, Octabvre, and MXRM82 have all lost to the C4 + a DMC micro, because the filter and octave effects are great on the C4 + there's a ton of versatility by stomping through patches on a micro, rather than bending down to tweak pedal settings.
