Stereo in, Mono Out should be what you need. The editor shows options for input level for both inputs. Check those. Also, if you are using a stereo TRS cable into input 2 that probably won't work right.

the ring (R) is for phone communication, not for a stereo signal.Ah so input 2 can only take a mono TS cable for audio? But the stock cable provided is a 1/8 to 1/4 TRS

I would check to make sure each preset has the same level in channel two.Update: Tried plugging in 2 instruments (1/4 TS) using stereo in, mono out. Works when I switch it on, but once I scroll presets, the volume for input 2 drops significantly and is unuseable again. Really dumbfounded here.
Routing is saved per preset, are all presets Stereo In -> Mono Out?Update: Tried plugging in 2 instruments (1/4 TS) using stereo in, mono out. Works when I switch it on, but once I scroll presets, the volume for input 2 drops significantly and is unuseable again. Really dumbfounded here.
This.Routing is saved per preset, are all presets Stereo In -> Mono Out?
Ah, I thought you were talking about scrolling through Neuro presets in the app.Yes. So I have stereo in mono out for preset 3. Upon switching on, both channels work fine. But I scroll through preset 4,1,2 and back to 3, input 2 no longer works as volume becomes incredibly low. Presets 1,2 and 4 should have absolutely no bearing on the i/o routing of preset 3.
I run all my Source Audio pedals in Stereo In -> Stereo Out and have never had the volume drop. Never tested this scenario though.Did through the mac editor, clicked save multiple times.
Edit: Am I the only one facing this issue?

Is there any news of a new unit in the pipeline with a larger display with higher resolution for folks like me who don't see as well as they did when they were young?
We are working on Neuro 3.0 software. It is much nicer and easier to see and use than Neuro 2.0.Is there any news of a new unit in the pipeline with a larger display with higher resolution for folks like me who don't see as well as they did when they were young?
Try that with a pedal with no editor.Just a shout out to SA. Fantastic customer service! After I emailed them on the stereo in mono out issue I faced, they actually sent a beta firmware update to solve the issue within 2 days!
Side note, been playing around with the functionalities, did up an eq curve to try to mimic shift-line's Ampeg SVT 8x10 IR. So channel 1 IR curve, cascades to channel 2 which is my final toneshaping out to DI. Attached the neuro screenshot and my reference IR curve (Channel 1).
Gets pretty close, but happy to get the feedback of the experienced folks here on what can be done better
