Source Audio EQ2

Update: Tried plugging in 2 instruments (1/4 TS) using stereo in, mono out. Works when I switch it on, but once I scroll presets, the volume for input 2 drops significantly and is unuseable again. Really dumbfounded here.

Yes. So I have stereo in mono out for preset 3. Upon switching on, both channels work fine. But I scroll through preset 4,1,2 and back to 3, input 2 no longer works as volume becomes incredibly low. Presets 1,2 and 4 should have absolutely no bearing on the i/o routing of preset 3.

Ah, I thought you were talking about scrolling through Neuro presets in the app.

When you get preset 2 all set up, are you pressing and holding the SAVE button?

Is there any news of a new unit in the pipeline with a larger display with higher resolution for folks like me who don't see as well as they did when they were young?
We are working on Neuro 3.0 software. It is much nicer and easier to see and use than Neuro 2.0.

Just a shout out to SA. Fantastic customer service! After I emailed them on the stereo in mono out issue I faced, they actually sent a beta firmware update to solve the issue within 2 days!

Side note, been playing around with the functionalities, did up an eq curve to try to mimic shift-line's Ampeg SVT 8x10 IR. So channel 1 IR curve, cascades to channel 2 which is my final toneshaping out to DI. Attached the neuro screenshot and my reference IR curve (Channel 1).

Gets pretty close, but happy to get the feedback of the experienced folks here on what can be done better

Try that with a pedal with no editor. :)

Has anyone had any issues with the EQ2 not using the preset you have active's routing correctly?

I have my EQ2 running in stereo in, stereo out, with one path prior to my dirt pedals and another post dirt pedals, to clean them up a bit.

Sometimes when I boot my board up, only the first channel/path is active and the EQ2 ignores the other eq path, and my dirt pedals also make no sound when activated (which makes sense, if that path isn't on)

Maybe it's because I have it set to auto select in Neuro? Shouldn't it just use whatever I have saved for each preset?

Unplugging the eq2 and plugging it back in fixes it, but it's a bit annoying when it randomly happens.
