THe OFD draws between perhaps 110ma and 130ma. If you connect up the HH receiver you add on another 30 to 40ma. We ship power supplies with each, so if you get into any noise issues, then use the power supplies that we ship. Each case will be a bit different. You will not hurt the pedal by giving is too little power.

If you use the OFD with the Hub and MIDI, you can have 128 presets.

Need help with OFD
I've had it for over 1 week now and I just can't get the tone in my head...it's not like there aren't a million tones to be had but they all sound so harsh somehow....

I've been trying to duplicate my VMT and my Xotic BB....I don't use fuzz so I only need maybe 2 tones out of it and I can't find them.....some TBers say they get the VMT out of it....I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with the proper settings so I can duplicate the VMT before I just return it....don't get me wrong, the OFD is a nice pedal and very versatile but I just can't find what I need....

did you try my 3BOD setting only with less gain?

Thanks johnk_10.....haven't tried your 3BOD clip yet....but I've just finished playing with the OFD for the last hour and found something very interesting. I was playing it with my old board which has a BDDI on it and it just didn't sound right so I figured it was time to put my new (to me) TH (which I got just a few days ago but I was so busy trying to work the OFD I almost forgot I had it) on my board. Well, guess what? That OFD sounds super with the TH, I've almost got the VMT and BB sounds.....not 100% but almost and frankly, I think they're more in your face on the OFD.....so looks like I'll be keeping the OFD after all....all that because I changed one pedal on my board......so my new board will have the TH-OFD-EP Booster (or Mooer or Spark)-Empress Comp (or Diamond)-Tuner and will become my go to board for gigs with unknown backline or my GK and I'm moving the BDDI on my blues board with BDDI-VMT-BB-EP Booster-Tuner which will go with my LMII or for blues gigs.....Finally got the 2 boards sorted out, now all I have to do is rebuild them...tomorrow....

The owner of BassDirect in London came to visit our booth many times at NAMM. He wants to be Source Audio Central in the UK. He is 100% on board with what we are doing. I would check with them, if you have not done so already.

The customer service folks at SA are great. I had a very small issue that they took care of right away, and while I was in contact with them I asked if they could tell me a little about the frequency centers and range of the Tone Shape knobs. I thought that would help me better grasping how to dial them in a bit. This is the info they gave me and I'm just passing it along in case it's of use to anyone else:

"The bass control is a shelving filter at 230 Hz.

Mid control is at 700 Hz

Treble is different on the boost and cut sides. On boost, it’s a shelf at 2k. On cut, it starts flat and rolls off the high frequencies down to 550 Hz at a maximum."
