okay. I didn't spend much time getting it exact, but I think that it's pretty close.
the clip order goes:

OCD
OFD

John, thank you for this and let me encourage you to keep posting settings! :D

I also want to thank you for your website, it's a great resource. I've been spending time going back running your demos while tinkering with the OFD to try to dial in the sound of some of my favorite pedals. I'm going to try to get a donation to you there this month.

Nice setting John. You know, I have kind of been neglecting the El Raton setting so this is a bit of an eye opener. I have been spending most of my time with the four tube settings. I guess I still have months of exploring to do on this pedal :)

yeah, well certainly has a lot of them.
when I go to emulate another pedal, I roll thru all of the different voices to hear what kind of dirt it has first and try to find one that has a similar grind, and then find the one that has the nearest frequency response. sometimes you don't get both and have to choose one or the other but you usually can find something that is a good representation of the pedal that you're emulating. when I do that, I often find that the OFD sounds a bit better than the one you're trying to copy. ;)

All this talk of the OFD had me firing up my Classic Pro last night, and loving it. Which got me wondering, are the basic models the same, or have they been tweaked for bass? Or is the OFD more bass friendly because of the new blend, or other after-modeling changes?

IME, the classic pro can pretty much do everything that the OFD can (it has a blend too), plus with its graphic, I think you can emulate other OD/distortion pedals even a little bit better.

The Classic Pro is harder to use: 2 drive knobs -7 band EQ - blend is on the back page.

Also, no gated fuzz tone. Also, the blend does not have the high cut option.

As John points out, with some work, the Classic Pro can get most OFD tones.

Thanks fellas. If I were choosing today, I'd likely go for the OFD, but I don't see myself dumping my Classic Pro based on these differences. Then again, selling my MWBD pro, BEF Pro, and Classic pro, and replacing with SB2's, might open up some real estate.........

Can someone recommend me a good place to grab an OFD besides bass direct? I've looked on Amazon and a couple other sites and I can't seem to use paypal to pay. I'd prefer to keep it in the US unlike bass direct which looks to be overseas.
